It is undeniable that the US will still dominate the world for a long time because of its economy（although it is experiencing a recession), military force, technoligy innovation and the most important thing——trust from the rest of world. So basically the US is still the only unipolarity in the world and this situation won’t be shifted due to the absence of other dramatic changes happening.

Possibly. China is already aiming at being the only regional power in Asia, trying to abolish US influence from Asia. Supporting North Korea to build ICBM and the improper claiming of Spratly and Parcell islands are the glaring examples.

Can’t build a nation just based on filling people’s stomach and giving them toys to play with. People need something greater than themselves to live for. So do nations.
