Well as a Pakistani I had an experiencetoday which proves that normal public in China consider Pakistan a friend likethe public in Pakistan. As Regional Manager I have recently been givenresponsibility for China and today was my introductory call with the businessmanager in China. Since I am based in Dubai, our Chinese manager might not haverealized that I am from Pakistan however at the end of my 1 hour call imentioned that i have been in Dubai for the last 11 years but i am basicallyfrom Pakistan and the first thing he said was “ohh u r a friend then” and ireplied “yes best friends”. It was a very good experience and a very nice andreassuring thing to hear from a normal Chinese Citizen.

作为巴基斯坦人，我今天的经历证明了中国人和巴基斯坦人一样都互相把对方当朋友。作为区域经理，我最近开始负责中国区域，今天和中国的一个经理打了个电话认识认识。由于我人在迪拜，所以我的这个中国经理可能没有意识到我来自巴基斯坦，通话快结束时，我说我在迪拜待了11年了，但是本质上是个巴基斯坦人，然后他说的第一句话是“哦，那你是朋友”，我回答说“是的，最好的朋友”。听到一个中国普通人这么说，感觉真好。

I took this photo at the Pakistan-Chinaborder at Khunjerab, Pakistan.
I went over to the family and said, “Come,selfie!”
They replied with “Yes! Friendship!Friendship!”
And the whole family happily joined us fora selfie!
Given their answer, I’m pretty sure theyknow they’re friends of Pakistan! ;)

I am not Chinese,I am a simple Pakistanibut I think I can answer this question.
Three years ago I went out with my familyfor outing and as we live in Rawalpindi,which is very close to Islamabad andthese two are actually called Twin cities,we went to Islamabad.Islamabad is thecapital of Pakistan and is one of the most beautiful capitals in the world.
We were in the monument area when we sawChinese person surrounded by a lot of people taking pictures with him and hetoo wasn't being shy.
We had a camera so we also decided to takea picture with him.He was a simple Chinese citizen and Pakistanis were treatinghim like a celebrity.The happiness in his eyes was visible.
He must have known that day that, “Chineseare friends of Pakistan.”
Picture is worth a thousand words.

3年前我和家人去远足，我们住在拉瓦尔品第（巴基斯坦东北部城市），非常靠近伊斯兰堡，其实这两座城市被称为双胞胎城市，我们去了伊斯兰堡。伊斯兰堡是首都，也是世界上最美丽的首都之一。
我们在一个纪念碑区域参观，看到一个中国人被一大群人围绕着，找他拍照，他也不是很害羞。
我们有相机也决定找他合影，他不过是个普通中国人，可是巴基斯坦人像对待名人一样对待他。他眼中的幸福溢于言表
那天他肯定知道了“中国人是巴基斯坦的朋友。”
一张照片胜过千言万语。
他看起来恐惧或害怕吗？

Yes, Chinese know that they are friends ofPakistan and Pakistani people also knows that they are friend of China.
They both have co-operated each other inmany field.
Indo-Pak Wars in 1965
Military industrial cooperation（ like JF-17 fighters）. Anti-terroism cooperation andinformation exchange)
Mutual assistance during natural disasters( like 2005 Kashmir earthquake，2008 Wenchuan Earthquake , 2010 Pakistan flood)
May be one more flag will be added.

是的，中国人知道自己是巴基斯坦的朋友，巴基斯坦人也知道他们是中国的朋友。
他们在很多领域相互合作。
1965年的印巴战争。
军工领域合作（比如JF-17战机）。反恐合作和信息共享。
自然灾害期间相互帮助（比如2005年克什米尔地震，2008年汶川地震，2010年巴基斯坦洪灾）
或许需要再添一面旗。

Yes, they surely know
I lived in Beijing, China consecutive fouryears from 2011 to 2015. Whenever they came to know that I am Pakistani, theirobvious reply was that China and Pakistan are friends.
Now let me tell you my personal story
I went to Skiing in suburbs of Beijing withmy Lab-fellows on the eve of new year. During ice skiing my skis broke down andI wanted to change this with another one. But that owner asked me to pay damagecharges. I agreed and was about to pay charges when owner came to knew that Iam from Pakistan. Then, he told me that China and Pakistan are friends and Iwould not charge you for damage of skis. During this whole process, my ChineseLab-fellow Guoke was with me patiently, and I could not forget those days dueto hospitality of Chinese people to all foreigners.

However there is one twist
Chinese are hard working nation with highprofessionalism. Unlike Pakistan, where from reading newspaper to talking onpolitics is considered daily appetite of many and where political shows aremore entertaining and generating revenues compared to real entertainingprograms, Chinese are always remaining far away to talk politics, let alone theinvolve politics, agitations or other things. So obviously, they are unaware ofmany international politics and geographical disputes. And they have little tono knowledge, for what Pakistanis are obsessed with in the name of so-calledGeneral knowledge.

2011到2015年，我在北京连续住了4年。当他们知道我是巴基斯坦人，都会说中巴是朋友。
来说一个我自己的故事。
新年前夜，我和实验室同事去北京郊区滑雪。滑雪的时候我的滑雪板坏了，我想换一个。但是老板要求我赔偿，我同意赔偿，在我就要付款时老板知道我来自巴基斯坦，于是对我说中巴是朋友，不用你赔了。整个过程中，我的中国实验室伙伴郭柯都耐心的陪着我，我无法忘怀中国人对外国人的这种热情好客。
附言：
但是这里有个问题。
中国人是勤奋的，非常专业。而在巴基斯坦人们可以阅读报纸谈论政治，比起娱乐节目，政治节目更有意思也收入更高，而中国人总是不爱谈论政治，更别谈参与政治，煽动等等事情了。所以，很多的国际政治和地理争端他们都不了解。而对于巴基斯坦人所迷恋的这些所谓的常识，中国人几乎不具备。

Unfortunately I still haven’t visitedChina, though love to visit someday soon but on our visit to Gilgit-Baltistanwe came across several Chinese who loved our country.
One of the girl below in black was fromShangai Ms. Wang said Pakistan is a heaven and she would love to come againnext year as its so cheap and people are so nice.
So I guess YEAH CHINESE CONSIDER PAKISTANISAS THEIR FRIEND, JUST LIKE PAKISTANIS CONSIDER CHINESE AS THEIR CLOSE FRIENDS….

遗憾的是我还没去过中国，想去，但是在我们去吉尔吉特-伯尔蒂斯坦地区碰到了几个中国人，他们爱我们的国家。
那个穿黑色衣服的女孩来自上海，王女士说巴基斯坦是天堂，明年还会再来，因为物价便宜，人也好。
所以我猜是的中国人认为巴基斯坦人是朋友，就像巴基斯坦人认为中国人是亲密朋友一样。

I have had a number of interactions withpeople from China and almost everyone of them has filled me with “Long LiveChina - Pakistan Friendship”.
My last encounter with a Chinese happenedjust this month at the student registration office in my university inMalaysia. As soon he learned that I am from Pakistan, he stood up and warmlyshook hand with me and said “China - Pakistan Friends” with an ear-to-ear smileon his face.
Guess what, it took us just two days and webegan hanging out :)

I have had great experiences with Chinese.Being Pakistani, I have always been greeted with an extra smile and warmth bythem.
