SHANGHAI/BEIJING (Reuters) - Chinese state media on Monday lambasted U.S. President Donald Trump's trade policies in an unusually personal attack, and sought to reassure investors anxious about China's economy as growth concerns battered its financial markets.

在一次非同寻常的人身攻击中，中国媒体周一谴责了美国总统川普的贸易政策，并且想要安抚对中国经济感到担忧的投资者，因为对中国经济增长的担忧影响到了其金融市场。



"Governing a country is not like doing business," the paper said, adding that Trump's actions imperilled the national credibility of the United States.

OMG, everyone is an expert now on China. China is duing their money to make trade more desirable for other countries. Their market is a little lower from their high but so is ours. They have a 3 trillon dollar surplus. Also our trade deficit was up 7 percent last month. Doesn’t sound like it is working to me. Stop denying the facts!

it's too early to make a call either way. Let's just let it goes as is for 12-18 months, than look at the hard numbers to see if this is helping us to bring back the manufacturing jobs back home. My gut feeling is, NO it will not. But I might be wrong.

Trump is doing the wrong things for the right reasons. The USA has a substantial arsenal of trade weapons but so does China. The last few weeks’ currency adjustment is just one weapon China can use along with reciprocal tariffs. China and other countries are very successful in protecting their domestic markets with government regulations and legislation. With one regulation China gave the cloud services market to domestic companies. Apple is out and Amazon was forced to sell their China biz to a local company. US companies are being pushed out of potentially the largest cloud market and no one is doing anything about it. China limits the number of foreign movies for cultural reasons but in fact they are protecting their developing film industry. Another law doesn’t allow TV stations to air foreign children’s programs between 6am and 9pm. Great way to protect local programmers. The USA can do the same. We already blocked Huawei and ZTE for security reasons. How about a law that requires foreign companies to prove they don’t use child labor or pollute the environment? Make China exporters meet OSHA standards. We need to be more creative in our approach to global trade. Now having said all that I prefer free trade between countries but until others truly open their markets we need to update our trade practices.

川普出于正确的理由做出了错误的事情。美国拥有大量的贸易武器，但是中国也有。这几周的货币调整就是中国可以用到的武器，还有报复性的关税措施。中国和其他国家用规章和立法很好的保护了自己国内的市场。只要一个规定，中国就将云服务市场给了自己国内的公司。苹果已经退出，亚马逊不得不将他们的中国业务卖给当地中国企业。美国企业被迫退出潜在的最大的云市场，毫无办法。中国出于文化因素限制了大量外国电影，但是保护自己正在发展中的电影产业。还有一个法律要求电视台不得在晚上6点到9点之间播放外国的儿童节目。就是为了保护本土节目。美国也可以这么做。我们已经因为安全原因阻挠了华为和中兴。要不要制定一个法律要求外国企业证明自己没有使用童工或者污染环境？让中国出口商符合OSHA标准。在全球贸易上，我们需要采用更具创意的方法。说了这么多，我还是希望国家之间能进行自由的贸易。但是如果其他国家没有真正开放自己的市场，那么我们也应该有所保留。
