警方称致死9人的慕尼黑袭击嫌疑人是一名当地青少年



A teen from Munich is believed to be thesuspect in a "possible terror attack" at the Olympia-Einkaufszentrumshopping mall the city, which left nine dead and nearly two dozen othersinjured, police said.

警方称慕尼黑购物商场“可能的恐怖袭击”的嫌疑人是一名慕尼黑青少年，这起事件已经导致9人死亡，另外二十多人受伤。

The Munich Police said that they had foundsomeone connected to the attack who killed himself and there’s a highprobability he acted alone. They later said the suspect was 18 years old.

The motive for the attack was unclear, butthere was no evidence of other attackers.

As technologically advanced as this worldis, we are becoming increasingly more violent. I wonder how long it will be forpeople outside the US to want to arm themselves. Terrorist all over the worldhave guns and are not afraid to use them. Since I'm ex-military and retired lawenforcement, I always carry a firearm. I can't imagine being in the position ofthese people running for their lives, afraid they're going to be shot. Having agun doesn't guarantee your safety but still I'd rather have one than not.

One thing Muslim religious leaders, as wellas others, need to start 'debunking' - and LOUDLY - is the belief that theywill be rewarded with 9-trillion virgins, or whatever, as martyrs for killing'infidels.' And surely their leaders don't believe that terrorism like that isrewarded in their afterlife! Once it is hammered home to them by their ownleaders, maybe they won't be so willing to commit suicide. (as an aside, wouldbe interesting to see their faces when reach their afterlife and find novirgins...or any type of pleasure at all - and that they wasted their livesfor, well, nothing, to say the least)

It IS a terror attack not a possible terrorattack. Why is there so much reluctance on the part of the police, governmentrepresentatives and the media to call a spade a spade. It does not matter ifthe perpetrators are muslims or not. They are still terrorists because theyinstilled terror in the populace. My guess is that in this case theperpetrator(s) are muslims. Germany has been importing them wholesale to dotheir scut work. Cheap is not always a bargain.
