All the technology China possesses was stolen, not invented. Without US help under Nixon China would still be a 3rd world basket case. Americans study Sun Tzu too. We brought China into the modern era. Our hope is that China contribute positively to the world. Too much emphasis on military is bad. Americans understand this. We don't want to be world policeman anymore.

Several decades' ago China spent too much resource in politics. Then China and Chinese people suffered. Since Deng time, China changed policy. Then China's economy took off and soared. Today some countries are spending lots of energy to "contain" China's peaceful rise. They are making similar mistakes and will be exhausted with big loss and disappointment. No country can fight against mega world trend with selfish agenda and weak purpose.

It is a very complex issue. But to put it in simple terms. In my humble opinion, the Americans have had it good for many years.Complacence sets in. Even though they have a relatively good political system and high standard of common decency in the society as a whole. Decline is inevitable. On the other hand, China had been a great country throughout its history although with a bit of ups and downs. But in the last 2 hundreds of years, it suffers unimaginable pain, blood, tears and above all, insults. It is especially with the last factor, China can do nothing but to rise. And to regain its former position as the preeminent nation of the world and beyond.
However the Chinese have to proceed with humility like Confucius has taught, otherwise it will the decline in the fullness of time.

这是一个非常复杂的问题。简单来说。依我看，美国人多年来过得太好，变得沾沾自喜。尽管他们的社会有着相对良好的政治制度和较高的社会公德标准。但下降是不可避免的。另一方面，中国在历史上一直是一个伟大的国家，尽管有一些起伏。在过去的200年里，它遭受了难以想象的痛苦、鲜血、眼泪，尤其是侮辱。尤其是在最后一个因素下，中国除了崛起别无选择。并重获作为世界上最杰出国家的地位。

China & India are definitely on the rapid rise, US falls due to the corrupted government to allow lousy education and healthcare system for decades. Healthcare now is horrible as most Americans do NOT dare to visit a hospital without a good health insurance. The life expectancy of Americans is the shortest among people from all other developed countries too. Why people from US as the '1st country' die WAY younger than people from other developed nations? US owes China lots of billions US dollars that takes decades to pay off but still the corrupted evil government non-stop invites more and more illegal immigrants to be their loyal voters at the expense of their own people. What a shame to those politicians and to the Americans who voted for those politicians! Even China is not on the rise as shown in the video, US will still be declining rapidly if no revolution on education & healthcare will be addressed properly as soon as possible.

American wasted so much. it is true. The biggest wast was Vietnam war. The Cold war monger in the American government is afraid the communist will spread. This logic is false. American became more dangerous than communist. American killed so far about 20 million people in various war. The bullet factory is still busy. They do not notice it. Vietnam won and they are doing fine without American democracy. American education brainwashes that human must have Democracy. We really do not know if the democracy will last long. Nobody knows. American government create enemy. Ifyou are not democracy, you are the enemy. This is the reason why American is declining. Under the protection of democracy, they even make fake movie of moon landing and justify to deceive people. We need to get rid of those who are the cold war monger from our government. They do not know how to learn from China.

1. Chinese are much disciplined than Americans.
2. Every countries are catch up with the US, and we just spend too much energy fighting between parties. China has only one party. When the government says "go", it is a "go", not "maybe", "compromise", or "I against it". Chinese government is more efficient than the US government.
3. Yest, we borrow too much money. The next question is who wants to lend money to the US in the future if governement deflate the dollar value?
4. The US lost manufacturing. We won WWII because we were able to produce. Let's see what is made in the US? Those corporation only think about their pocket instead of the country.
5. US citizen think about how to become rich, and Chinese think about how to become a strong country
6. In China, the competition is stiff because of the great populations. Chinese are trained to take challenges and accept the suffering for the country. Life is too easy in the US when comparing with other countries.
7. Education before college is a failure in the US. Chinese send their best students to the US to learn, and bring the knowledge back to China. The US is helping China to grow, instead of helping the American students to grow.
8. US government is short sighted; focus on election instead of plan for the future, and China government has long term plan and goal.
9. American spend too much energy on sports and fun than thinking about learning from other countries. We are really falling behind from the rest of the industrial world.
