Nothing really. The Soviet unx had similar capabilities to the US during the cold war. China is pretending to be a global power and the US has stopped humoring it's delusion.

American spacecraft have flown by photographed orbited or landed on virtually every body in the solar system. America has landed four rovers on Mars four or five landers on Mars and a half dozen others orbiting the red planet. The U.S. has orbited highly advanced systems around both Jupter and Saturn have taken the only close up pictures of Ceres Neptune Uranaus Pluto or Mercury. Four of their spacecraft have actually left the solar system -- the only human artifacts to have done so as yet. America landed men on the moon and returned them to earth multiple times - using 1960's technology. The amount of Earth science NASA has done since the 1970s is simply staggering. The amount of solar science done by NASA is enormous and growing. Gravity waves have been proven with NASA satellites. The Hubble Space Telescope's work speaks for itself. The James Webb space telescope launches next year I believe and it's so big and capable it's actually kind of funny. American achievements in partnership with Europe go well beyond even the list above.

What the fuck has China done? They bought Russian Soyuz kit and have dicked around with it for 20 years. They're roughly where America was in the mid 1960's and wouldn't be anywhere if they'd had to do everything themselves without the Russian kit.
