Chinese tech during ancient times were far more superior to Roman empire.
I have seen some ignorant people from this site talking garbage about how Roman empire was stronger than Han China in tech. These people only know about Greek, Roman history, they don't have a clue about asian history, that is why they have such garbage views about China.

古代的中国科技远比罗马帝国先进。

He is the only source, only the start. Some of his conclusions wee incorrect but the consensus of history is that China was the world leader in technology for over a 1000 years and was no laggard in the ancient sciences either. There is a minority out there that disagrees about China's achievements, can I assume you are one of them?

That is your prerogative. Like I said the great majority of Western historians disagree with you, and so do the majority of postgraduates in the West (those from the last 1-2 decades).

If you don't have the time or inclination to properly research what China has achieved in science and technology in the ancient and medi world, then you can simply look at Wikipedia to get an idea:
You'll noticed that this Wikipedia page has been well done with details and each one of them has references that you can look up if so inclined.

I take your point, and it is a good one. However, it is the Nordic obsession with metallurgy that created modern civilization. Once the West developed coke and furnaces to master steel, all other technologies fell before them like wheat before a scythe.
It was steel that created long range weapons, and it was the Norse who worshiped and developed steel.
And that is why the west conquered the world.

And China cultivated grain 10,000 years ago. Fact is Carnegie created modern steel production, you can believe whatever you want, I think I see it better than you, and with your permission, I will keep my own opinion.
Fact is the Chinese never really got the hang of chairs, and still eat with sticks. The culture is fascinating, but their advanced technology was mostly sold to them in exchange for donations to the Clinton Foundation :-)

No doubt that the Buebonic plague had hit China at one time or another because they had develop a natural immunization against the plague long before the plague hit europe, but as luck will have it the native Americans never had immunization against small pox that were imported on their stolen lands.
