A Korean here. After reading through lots of cancerous comments mainly about how Korea should've won, going back to the history about whether Goguryeo is Chinese or Korean history, even going back to how South Koreans are originally from Cambodia or some bullshit. (how things have escalated that far I don't even know)
First of all, it doesn't really matter what anyone's heritage is, considering all of humanity originated from the fields of Africa and spread from there. So we're all Africans going by that logic. Just shut up about that.

Secondly, I have learned that Goguryeo is part of Korean history, as was Balhae , where both these countries had territories in the current Manchuria region. But... why does that matter? It's like arguing whether Prussia is Polish history or German history. Or whether Rome is Italian history or ... any other European history. If there are common things that stem from those past countries to the current country that you're in, then it is your history. Why argue which thousand-year-old country is whose when things have changed too much for that to even matter?
