Because of Chinese culture.
Yeah some are, I’ve met them. I, as a non-Chinese man, got seriously turned off by Chinese women who just put down Chinese men in front of me, and talk about non-Chinese men being “better” [insert the way]. For women like this, my first question is “do you think your father was good enough for your mother?” - I have actually asked this out loud once. I really don’t like self-hating people like this, regardless of race - I find it personally disgusting.
I do not believe most Chinese women dating white men or non-Chinese men are like this. My wife is not (then again every man she has dated was of East Asian ancestry before me - Chinese, Korean).
Instead, I will argue that Chinese women are doing EXACTLY what they were raised to do.
Let me explain…and please be patient. This is my “theory”, not stating this as “fact”, because I think this situation is too complex to have one “right answer”.

因为中国文化。是的，某些中国女孩确实这样，我见过她们，我不是中国人，每当有中国女性在我面前贬低中国男人并且称非中国男人多好多好时，我都觉得很不舒服。对于这样的女人，我想问“你觉得你的父亲配得上你的母亲吗？”有一次我真的大声问了这一句。我真的不喜欢自我讨厌的人，无论种族，我认为很令人恶心。
我认为大部分中国女性在和白人或者非中国男性谈恋爱时不是这样的。我妻子就不是（当然，在遇见我之前，她的约会对象都是东亚血统，中国人或韩国人）。
相反，我认为中国女性的做法是符合她们生长环境的。请耐心听我解释，这只是我个人的理论，而非“事实”，因为我认为这个情况太复杂了，没有一个“正确的答案”。



In general women everywhere tend to marry the same socio-economic class or higher, men the same or lower. However, in the last 30-40 years the concept of a woman purposefully "moving-up" by marriage is generally criticized and frowned upon in Western society, which is a natural outgrowth of feminism.
Well feminism never touched the mind of most most Chinese women, not in that way anyway, especially the parents of most 1st generation immigrants, which over 50% of Asian Americans are in the U.S. The idea that women should not use their sexuality to get a “meal ticket” for a “stable life, based on a man’s income, is not “a thing”. That’s a Western post-70s ideology, that is not even completely accepted in the West, especially among non-white women. Look at lyrics from Nicky Minaj and Cardi B…they are not really “feminist” per se…they rap about “using men for money” based on the fact they are so “attractive” or only dating “ballers and bosses (rich men)”.
So how does this affect dating?
If you raise your daughters to be materialistic, status conscious, and that they should marry as rich as she can...and this is part of your moral foundation and it is enforced by parents...

一般而言，全世界的女孩都想门当户对或者嫁给条件更好的男人，而男人也想门当户对或者娶条件比自己差的女人。然而，过去三四十年来，在西方社会，一个女人通过婚姻来提升自己地位的概念受到了批评和白眼，这是女权主义的自然结果。
但是女权主义从未抵达大部分中国女性的心灵，特别是大部分第一代移民的父母，超过50%的亚裔美国人在美国。认为女性不应该利用自己的性别特征嫁给一个好男人从而改善生活，这种想法根本不是个事。那是70年代之后的西方意识形态，这种想法甚至没有完全被西方接受，特别是在非白人的女性中。
所以这会影响到约会吗？如果在你抚养女儿的过程中，把她养成物质至上和看重社会地位的，让她们尽可能嫁给有钱人，那么这就会成为这些女孩道德基础的一部分，而且是父母强加的。

What do you expect?
Since the industrial revolution, Europeans, especially Western Europeans (and their offshoots in North America, etc) have dominated the world politically, militarily, economically. That has shifted somewhat, but it is still true. Even as Western hard power declines, the media, especially that of the Anglophone world, centered in Hollywood, is still dominate globally.
You can see white people being anything from a homeless psychopath to saving the entire universe...and it is beamed into your living room every single day, all day...
I don't care what anyone says, that is psychologically POWERFUL. Media matters, and the biggest export of the West, especially the U.S. is media. By far. I have met many Chinese who believe that U.S. media represents the REAL UNITED STATES. LOL I always reminded them that this is “fantasy” if it was real life it would be BORING. However many Chinese still have not travelled abroad or interacted with any foreign people, and due to censorship, have limited access to foreign press. So…you can imagine what that leads to…

那你还能期望什么？自工业革命以来，欧洲人尤其是西欧人（以及他们在北美的分支）主宰了世界的政治经济和军事。虽然势力有在某种程度上转移，但是依然是欧美人主导。虽然西方的硬实力在削弱，但是以好莱坞为中心的英语语系的媒体依然主宰全球。
通过好莱坞你看到白人无所不能，从无家可归的精神病患者到拯救地球，你每一天都在接受这样的讯息。
这就是精神上的强大力量。媒介很重要，西方的最大出口，尤其是美国，就是媒体。我遇到的很多中国人都认为美国媒体代表着真正的美国。哈哈，我经常提醒他们那是假的，如果是真的话，那也太无聊了。然而，依然有很多中国人没出过国，也没和外国人交流过，由于审查，也没能接触外国媒体，所以你能想象着会导致什么结果。



\The western ladies won more liberty than rest of the ladies in the world. With this came different roles between the western couples. For some western boys, it is overwhelming to handle this newly defined liberty, and changing the position of the woman of the west. Also in my mind with proper nutrition, autonomy, excellent health care, the western woman has become a bit more overwhelming for some western boys. They still want to wear the pant in the family

西方女性赢得的自由比世界其他女性来得多。因此，西方夫妇之间要扮演不同的角色。对于某些西方男性来说，这种新定义的自由让他们喘不过气来，这种自由也改变了西方女性的地位。在我看来，随着营养的提升，自主权，良好的医保，西方女性给西方男性造成了巨大压力。这些男性依然想在家庭里处于当家的地位。
