If we study China history, remove Mongolian Dynasty period, which Chinese consider not rule by Chinese, we notice the following:
During the peak period of Chinese Dynasty, when they were opened up their economy period, they welcome other countries to share their economy through trade, example Silk Road. They open to have other countries scholars to studied with their scholars. Example, during the Tang Dynasty, Japan and Korean scholars came to China to learn their civilisation. China did not practice western colonialism. What they practice is inter racial marriage diplomacy, that is the Emperor will send some of his princeses to marry the king of neighbouring states, with the thinking it will bring peace and cooperation between the two states. In addition, during the Tang period, importing Buddhism from India to China, they did not export their own religion then, Taoism to other countries. Confucius teaching was other nations, such as Japan and Korea send their scholar to China to adopt to their culture.

如果我们研究中国历史，不考虑元朝时期，中国人认为元朝不是中国人统治的朝代，我们会注意到以下几点：
1、在中国朝代的鼎盛时期，也就是中国人开放自己经济的时期，他们欢迎其他国家通过贸易分享他们的经济，比如丝路。他们欢迎其他国家学者来向中国学者学习。比如唐朝时期，日本和韩国学者来到中国学习中国文明。中国没有实施西方那样的殖民主义。他们实施的是种族间的婚姻外交，即皇帝会送一些公主去和邻国的国王结婚，认为这样可以带来两国间的和平和合作。此外，唐朝期间，从印度引入了佛教，但是中国没有将自己的宗教道教出口到其他国家。而儒家教义，是其他国家如日本和韩国派学者去中国学习他们的文化。

You are wrong, we very much consider the Yuan dynasty to be Chinese.

Strictly speaking Yuan Dynasty is refer to the Mongolian Empire that adopts the Chinese culture Khanate, Kublai Khan - Wikipedia. Not the other 3 Khanate, who retain their own Mongolian culture. If we cannot differentiate with the other 3 Khanates of the Great Mongolian empire, then one will argue that China is invader mentality. Start claiming all the countries that He used to rule, including the other 3 Khanates.
Many people don’t quite understand China, as most country is a nation state, where China is hold by common Chinese civilisation state. In that sense you are correct. Because Kublai Khan adopt the Chinese culture and civilisation. I exclude it, because I don’t want to mix this with the other original Mongolian culture, as that will create confusion in my arguments.

严格来说元朝是采用了中国文化的蒙古帝国，即忽必烈可汗。而不是其他三个可汗，因为他们保持了自己的蒙古文化。如果我们无法区分，那么有人就会说中国是侵略者心态。
很多人不是很了解中国，因为大部分国家是民族国家，而中国是文明型国家。从这个意义上来说，你是对的。因为忽必烈可汗采用了中国文化和文明。我之所以排除了它，因为我不想将它同其他的原始蒙古文化混淆，那样会导致我的论点的混乱。

China has already changed the world.
-The Belt and Road system has connected Eurasia in a manner never done before. These railways along with telecommunications have hard-wired Eurasia and made transportation of goods and services faster, cheaper and more efficient. Not since the days of Columbus to the railways of the 19th century has the world seen such a change.

中国已经改变了世界。

Buddhist/Confucian China is leading the world in change and uplifting the lives of millions in the emerging markets. For the first time in over two hundred years, a Buddhist oriented culture is taking the leadership that was only under the leadership of the Judeo/Christian world.
