Your view on trade is not balanced. The problem is that many American companies have moved their factories to China and many Americans have lost their jobs as a result. Now to be fair, if China did not open their door to these companies, they would have gone elsewhere. Both America and China have the right to protect their markets. So when America does that, it is within their rights. A trade war is an indication that there is tension in this trading relationship in which one or both countries are not happy about.
Do not insult Americans simply because you do not like the stance their country has taken. Ultimately, an agreement will be reached that both countries will live by, even if it is for a short time. At least it is better than the wars nations used to fight to take over other nations.

Every three year will reveal their big plan. It is the end of third year of Made In China 2025. They can made adjust base on their outcome. There are alot of promotion on SOE and private company. Plus the trade war pool has pool the private IT company like Huawei, Alibaba, Tencent,Baibu to pull back their resource to develop their own AI,5G, VR, CPUs....etc. It reveal quite a lot for the China to push such initiviate. Plus Made In China 2025 doesn't mean foreign company can't involved with the initiative. Germany has already try to sync Industry 4.0 with Made In China 2025. Looking further, after Made In China 2025, the next initiative will be China Brand 20XX. The finale is China 2050.

every time when ask to transfer technology, the corporation would obviously sign a contract, "force transfer" would mean the Chinese government holding a gun to their heads forcing them to sign the contract, or the Chinese government could have to kidnap the daughter of the CEO of the american companies as bargaining chips. China is doing neither, the US on the other hand is obviously doing the latter.
