The Type 001A can't go blow for blow with US CVNs or LHA/LHDs. CVN, LHA/LHD can put their planes in the air fully loaded. Ski jump carriers have to carefully balance the load or the plane won't get off the deck. For anti ship missions, the J-15, the J-15's striking range is 75 miles with YJ-91 whereas the F-18s can strike from 300 miles using LRASM. F-35s using the JSM can also strike from 300 miles away. In actual combat, the US can outshoot the type001a
