Just cause you have a guitar doesn't make you rock star, the same way simply having a aircraft carrier doesn't automatically provide you a fully functioning, well oiled carrier strike group with accompanying air wing! It's takes time to work through all the very many different aspects of carrier flight operations, launch and recovery, how to address certain threats above and below the water, emergency procedures/ readiness drills, underway replenishment and on and on it goes! We (America) have been doing this since the beginning, we wrote the book on how to do this and we employ tactics and hardware that are the products of years of refining our methods that work and learning as much as we can from the methods that didn't! I'm sure the Chinese are capable and they're only getting better each day but let's not forget that experience can't be bought, built, or stolen from a hard drive! It's funny that people act like all of a sudden China can kick our ass because they have 2 1/2 carriers, go ahead and underestimate the US Navy if you want to but their is plenty of ships on the bottom of the ocean from countries or navies that lost respect and found out the hard way they were wrong!!
