Decent place to get some fresh spicynoodles. I ordered the N2 which is thespicy beef noodles and it was pretty good. I got it mildly spicy and really that was just a hint of spicy. They give you a pretty good portion ofnoodles but they cheaped out on the beef. There were only a few small pieces of beef in the dish. Overall it was pretty tasty.

I've had some share of hand pulled noodles,with the flat variety being my favorite, and these were the noodles I didn'tknow I needed in my life.

The seating area is cramped and not exactlyspacious for my all-American Pat Baby, but the busy feel and overall quality offood makes you feel like you are not in NYC at all.
座位区挺狭小的,而且对我的美国宝宝来说也不够宽敞,但繁忙的感觉和食物总体上的品质,会让你感觉自己根本不在纽约城。
I know the cumin lamb is pretty popular,but I just love spicy beef noodle soup. I have to get it if it's on a menu to at least try and see where itranks in my list. This one made it tothe top and I'm still dreaming of the delicious flat noodles and irresistibletingle on my lips and tongue.

It wasn't just the beef noodle soup on itsown now. At first I thought it was justa "okay, I recognize you" kind of flavor. Then, I noticed there was a large bottle ofblack vinegar near the pickup window. Iput a few squirts in...and then a few more..."OKAY, I SEE YOU".

Now it was this savory and tangy purse-your-lips-with-your-eyes-closedkind of taste. I couldn't get enough ofthe soup and I was already in love with the bite of the flat noodles. Pat Baby ordered the soupless version and hewas equally pleased with the spicy sauce. The seemingly endless amount of flat noodles captivated us as we ate,and ate, and ate to our black hearts content.
它有着那种可口且香味扑鼻、让你闭上眼撅嘴的那种味道。汤我怎么也喝不够,而且我已经爱上了那口宽面。我的宝宝点了无汤的版本,他也同样喜欢辣酱。在我们吃的时候,瞧着似乎无尽的宽面迷住了我们,因为我们一直吃到了盆满钵满的程度。
For the price and quality of food, it isdefinitely a meal worth standing in line for on a chilly NY day.

I haven't been here but I was bought somefood from here by a co worker so the review is really only for the food.
I had the spicy beef noodles. Delicious isthe only word for it. Spicy but not over the top and the noodles are great. Notthe traditional spaghetti noodles but thicker. Apparently the noodles are handmade. You can definitely taste the difference.

我吃了辣味牛肉面。美味是可以给它的唯一词汇。辣但不过分,而且面条很赞。不是那种传统的意面,要更厚一些。很明显面条是手工制作的。你绝对能吃出区别。
我绝对会很快再回来的。

Xi'an is fantastic and really hits the spotif you're looking for some spicy noodles (sidenote: also great hangoverfood!). I've been to 3 locations (UES,Harold Square & this one), all have been great experiences.. this midtownlocation will definitely get busy and packed during the lunch hour from theworking crowd, so keep that in mind. Nowon to the food.. my favorite item is the Spicy Tingly Beef (pictured). The Lamb/Oxtail are also good, but the beefreally melts in your mouth and is too good to pass up imo. I've had the dumplings and they were good butnot great.. the entree is a good size and usually leaves me full. Definitely consider this part of my mainlunch rotation and will be back soon!
如果你在寻找某种辣味面条(也是很棒的解酒食物),陕西名吃很不可思议而且真的很合胃口。我已经去过3家分店了,都得到了很棒的体验。这家位于市中心的店,在午饭时间因为上下班的人流绝对会变得非常忙碌且拥挤,记住这一点。现在谈谈食物,我最喜欢的一样是麻辣牛肉。羊肉面和牛尾面也很好,但这牛肉真的会在你的口中融化,在我看来它好到不能错过。我已经吃过饺子了,它们挺好的但没有说特别棒...主菜的量很良心而且总是能把我喂饱。绝对会考虑把这家作为我吃午餐的主要轮流站点,很快会再来哒!

This time we tried both of the burgers,pork and lamb. I was peckish and my friend was kind of hungry, making it theperfect amount of food for us.
这次两种汉堡(肉夹馍)我们都试了,猪肉的和羊肉的。我是空腹,而我朋友有点饿,这就使这些食物的量完美匹配上了我们。
The lamb burger was no doubt better thanthe pork. Each bite was bursting with flavor! Not to mention it also had moremeat. My friend said the pork one reminded him of Chinese carnitas because ofall the fat and oil dripping from it. Also, the pork to bread ratio was off -at first bite you can taste the flavors of the pork, then as you keep chewingit becomes bready and bland.
I'll definitely be coming back for morelamb!
羊肉夹白吉馍毫无疑问比猪肉的好。每咬一口香味都在口中爆射!更不用提它里面的肉也放得更多。我朋友说猪肉的让他想起中国的肉丝,就因为里面所有的肥肉和往下滴落的油脂。还有就是,猪肉和馍的比例是不均的,第一口你能尝到肉味,然后当你开始咀嚼,它会变成馍的口感,也会变淡。
我绝对会回来吃更多的羊肉夹白吉馍的!

I don't like lamb, never have. But here Iwanted to try what everyone loved the most so I had it. Oh my god!!!! I wantedmore. The flavor is so spicy and tasty. The noodles are so good. I was soimpressed.
The hype was real!!!!

Needless to say, this was a movingexperience and filled our heart with love for food! The cumin lamb noodles andlamb burger were out of this world. Literally, never knew lamb could taste sogood. The noodles are made in a very peculiar way and tastes like heaven!! Thelocation we visited next to Times Sq was really small and had no alcoholicdrinks, but I did read that the other two locations are much bigger and doserve beer. Considering how famous this place is and the location, I would saythey have kept the prices really low. Almost made me skeptical at first sinceit was less than 10$, that's how it is!! My mouth is watering just rememberingthe food here, so I will bring this review to an end now...

When I moved to NYC 3 years ago this wasone of my go to places for delicious Szechuan food. It still is, but every timeI see the inflation on lamb/pork burgers it's a little less happy. Somethinglike 20% a year inflation on the prices it feels! I guess that's what happenswhen a hole in the wall becomes popular :).

I love the oxtail noodles, both lamb andstewed pork burger, and the soy milk (they only have this on the weekendsthough).

The oxtail is incredibly tender, thenoodles deliciously springy, and the burgers are just the amount of meat to oilto high density bread. Just unhealthy enough for you to get that hit of fat andsalt (let's face it, we're biologically evolved to crave that fat and salt).
牛尾难以置信得嫩,筋斗的面条很好吃,而肉夹馍只是大量的肉和油脂加上密度很高的馍。足够不健康,能让你过把肥肉和咸味的瘾头(让我们面对现实吧,我们渴望肥肉和咸味可是生物演化造成的)

Some of the best noodles I've had. Chewyand so flavorful. The tea is also refreshing. Good luck finding a spot to eat.They do provide chairs and tables, but there's not many. Come hungry, thesenoodles are filling.

I traveled to NYC with my friend and thiswas one of the places that I wanted to try as this was mentioned in a number ofblogs. I went here two times in a 4 daysand had the Spicy Cumin Lamb Hand Ripped Noodles both times. It was sodelicious and addictive. It was served hot with a chili vinaigrette sauce,cumin lamb, onions and cabbage. The biang biang (wide noodles) had a nice chewytexture. My friend tried the Liang Pi (Cold Skin Noodles) and it was reallydelicious as well. It would have been awesome to have this during the summer asit reminded me of an appetizer dish. It was too bad we were in town for solittle days because I wanted to try the Chang'an Spicy Tofu and the Lambdumplings.
我和朋友去纽约旅行,这里是其中一个我想去尝试的地方因为它在相当多的博客中被提及。这里我在4天内来了两次,两次都吃了辣味孜然羊肉扯面。它太好吃了,而且让人上瘾。端上来的时候是烫的,配着辣味油醋汁、孜然羊肉、洋葱和卷心菜。Biangbiang面嚼着很有质感。我朋友尝试了凉皮,也很好吃。夏日里吃这个会是很好的,因为它让我想起一道开胃菜。很遗憾我们在城里待的日子太少了,因为我还想试试长安辣豆腐以及羊肉饺子。
