ISTANBUL (Reuters) - President Tayyip Erdogan was quoted on Sunday as saying that Turkey did not need to join the European unx "at all costs" and could instead become part of a security bloc dominated by China Russia and Central Asian nations.

at the end of the day Turkey is a muzzy nation with a poor human rights record. They fit in well with China Russia and the rest of the former soviet era satellite states.
