Spending any budget the USCG gets on their FRC's and new cutters the USCG left no funding for personnel equipment training or quality of life. They are now hollow. Personnel have done so much with nothing for so long they are burnt out and morale is the lowest it has ever been. USCG's reaction to save money has been to delay projects that improve quality of life cut funding and encourage medical to avoid costs (avoid giving good medical care to members). USCG has also gone out of their way to separate people (close to retirement) from the service for any reaason they can think of. Anything so they don't need to pay that retirement. At the same time they are hiring people with no work ethic people that can not stay off of their phones for more than twenty minutes people that avoid going into the storm. What a failure.
