BEIJING — Chinese Ambassador to Japan Cheng Yonghua on Friday lashed out at Japan and the United States, criticizing the two countries’ agreement to further boost their bilateral security alliance as a move to position China as an “enemy.”

中国驻日本大使程永华周五强烈谴责美国和日本，抨击两国强化双边安全同盟的新协议，称其为是一种对中国的“敌视”行动。

Speaking to reporters in Beijing, Cheng said, “It sounds as if Japan and the United States are purposely taking China as their enemy and saying ‘Let’s join hands and go at China.’”

程在北京对记者们说：“听起来像美日将中国当作敌人，有种‘携手对付中国’的意思。”

The ambassador also described the strengthening of the Japan-U.S. alliance as “clearly a Cold War mindset,” adding that it goes against Tokyo’s promise to improve relations with China.

程大使还将美日加强同盟称为“明显的冷战思维，”且违背了日本政府与中国改善关系的承诺。

“Frankly speaking, I am dissatisfied with what the Japanese side has been doing since January,” Cheng said with regards to Sino-Japanese ties.

程大使就中日关系表示：“坦白讲，我对日本一月以来的做法不满。”
The envoy’s remarks came after senior security advisers to Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe and U.S. President Donald Trump agreed earlier this week to closely coordinate in further boosting the bilateral security alliance.

本周早些时候代表日本首相安倍的高级安全顾问和美国总统特朗普，同意就加强双边安全同盟而密切合作，程大使就此事作出如上讲话。

In their meeting in Washington, Shotaro Yachi, head of the secretariat of the Japanese National Security Council, and H.R. McMaster, Trump’s national security adviser, also exchanged views on security challenges in the Asia-Pacific region, including China’s assertive territorial claims in the East and South China seas, according to a Japanese official.

一名日本官员表示，日本国家安全保障局局长谷内正太郎和特朗普的国家安全顾问H.R. 麦克马斯特在华盛顿的会面中，还交换了关于亚太地区安全挑战的看法，其中包括中国对东海及南海强硬的领土主张。

Both the US and Japanese Governments need to defend vital economic interests to prevent the Government of China declaring and enforcing an Sea Air Defense Identification Zone in the South China Sea.
There must be no misinterpretation, the Government of China must be afforded no quarter, only the clear knowledge that full retaliatory action, both economically and militarily, coordinated from land, sea, and air to remove all conventional threats or otherwise from the Spratly Islands and continuing unhindered safe passage to global trading routes through the South China Sea.
The incumbent LDP government has the political will to ensure this will happen, searching questions about the Japanese opposition parties commitment, resolve, and competence to support an executive action to launch a strike to defend Japan remain.
The message is clear the Government of China has a choice.

美日政府需要保障至关重要的经济利益，防止中国政府在南海划设防空识别区。
这事不能被歪曲，不能给中国政府一丁点余地，让其清楚的意识到，我们有全方位的反制措施，既包括经济方面的也包括军事方面的，通过海陆空协作消除所有常规威胁，保障通过南海斯普拉特利群岛（译注：我称南沙群岛）的国际自由贸易线路畅通无阻。
现任自民党政府有意愿促成此事，寻求和在野党的共识，以决心和能力保证有能力实施反击来防卫日本。

I don't recall China making any kind of effort to form an alliance with the US or Japan. If you are not an ally, you are an enemy, unless you are Sweden, of course.

China is an enemy. One can only imagine what China would do if they thought no-one could stop them. Message to rest of the world: stop funding China's military with your business.

For the amount of dirt the pour internally, and, as brothers-in-arms, externally, China stands correct on that one. There will not be any friendship if both countries keep producing "counter measures" one after the other. Which is a common sense but idiots rule, well...

Its plain to see that Japan Abe government is treating China more and more like adversary, and ganging up with Trump USA. This is not healthy.
Japan imperialists were aggressors and killed enormous of Chinese and Asians in past wars. Because of this still "unrepentant" past among Japanese rightists, Chinese, Koreans and other Asians will remain guarded of Japanese rightists intention.
Nevertheless, Chinese new founded influence and power has led them to be cocky. This is also not right. US as usual has always wanted to remain sole global power and will mess up Asia especially if this aggressive impulsive Trump trend continue. But Asians including Chinese and Japanese need to see the daily tragic realities of US Middle East involvement where wars brought so much death, injuries, destruction, losses, etc.
Be contented, be peaceful and tolerant; don't quarrel over some silly rocks in the ocean, and invite destruction of your loved ones; father, mother, sisters, brothers, friends & relatives when war starts. Don't continue this unhealthy trend. Pacifist is good, don't take beautiful peace for granted.
China today cannot be bullied unlike 70 to 100 years ago, likewise Russia. Better keep quiet and be nice especially when your population is old & aging and young are few and comfortable. Be wise.

可以明显看到，安倍政府越来越像对手般对待中国，还纠集上美国。这没有益处。
在过去的战争中，日本军国主义侵略者曾经杀害了巨量的中国人和亚洲人。而由于日本右翼分子“不知悔改”，中国，韩国，和其他亚洲国家仍会对日本右翼的动作保持警惕。
然而，中国如今获得的影响力和实力让他们变得自负。这也不好。而美国，和以往一样，一直想要保持在全球的绝对实力，会将亚洲搞的一团糟，尤其是在咄咄逼人的特朗普上台后，这种趋势仍将继续。但，亚洲国家，包括中国，应当看到美国介入中东后带来的那些真实的惨剧，战争只会带来无尽的死亡，伤痛，损失，毁灭等等。
知足，平和，宽容；不和茅坑里的臭石头计较，不将你爱的人引向灭亡。停止那些有害的纷争吧。和平弥足珍贵，别当作理所当然。
中国今天虽然不会像70多年前，100多年前那样受尽屈辱，同样的还有俄罗斯，但请明智些，克制些，友好些，尤其是当人口越来越老龄化而且年轻人越来越少又没有舒适感时。
