China is aiming advanced medium-range ballistic missiles at Taiwan as part of a growing military threat towards the island, Taipei's defence minister said Monday.

台湾防长周一称中国正将先进的中程弹道导弹瞄准台湾，加大了对台湾的军事威胁。

The announcement came after Taiwan said for the first time last week that it is capable of launching missiles at China as it warned of an increased invasion risk.

而就在上周，台湾首次宣称在不断增加的入侵危险下台湾有能力向中国发射导弹。

I agree that Trump should say very little. However, China has been against the US before Trump was even considering running for office. China only pretended to be friendly, this made the US trust by investing billions in China. Now that China acquired most the US Companies Intellectual Property, they don't need to be nice to the US.

Perhaps its the people who use the Patriot. Israel has had success with it. It seems that Israel and it's Arab enemies are on equal military footing with comparable equipment but, Israel just knows how to use theirs more efficiently .

The Patriot system has undergone many changes since its initial introduction to military service. The Saudi targets that you are referring to, were not defended by Patriots and thus cannot be counted as failures to intercept. I don't know what version of the Patriot Taiwan has, but the newest version of Patriot, called PAC-3 is very effective.
