I do and I don't.

我喜欢，也不喜欢。

Before this gets a bashing by Chinese citizens saying if I don't I should go home bare with me.

我被中国人喷：如果我不喜欢中国，我就该两手空空地回家去之前，

I'm sure everyone else is going to say the generic safety transport bla bla bla that's a given nowadays-on this China succeeds far better that than the UK.

我确信其他人想出来说当今中国能提供普遍安全的环境，方便的交通等等。。。。在这方面中国比英国做得远远的好。

I personally like here because it's lifestyle for me is great I am self employed have my own businesses and being out here in China talking and arranging customers here gives me superb flexibility and quite frankly because of the cost of living means if I so choose to I can work a whole lot less than I do and still live extremely comfortable.

我个人喜欢这里因为中国的生活方式对我来说很棒，我是自己创业的，现在出来在中国和客户们谈生意和安排事务十分的方便。老实说，由于生活的成本低廉让我做出如此选择：我可以非常少量的工作，但仍然可以生活得非常舒适。

I enjoy my close set of Chinese and foreign friends and how we share similar set of values.

I enjoy the speed of life here it's fast new stuff is happening all the time new activities new things new challenges here for me it seems that when one door closes about 5 doors open. The opportunities here are far far greater than back home and being a foreigner privilege just intensifies it. I have also seen multiple Chinese friends start up businesses because of the willingness to try I like it it's very inspiring.

我享受这里的生活节奏，这里无时无刻都有新的东西，新的活动，新的事情，新的挑战，对我来说就像是一扇门关上了就会有另外五扇门打开一样。这里的机遇远远比我回老家多的多，而且作为外国人，感觉更有机会，特权。 而且我有许多中国朋友已经开始做自己的生意，因为我很愿意尝试新的事物，这对我来说也很鼓舞！ 我喜欢这样！ 

On the friend aspect a lot of my friends are entrepreneurs or wantrepenuers and it always helps to be surrounded by these kind of people which naturally makes me think of China in a more positive light.

在朋友方面，我许多朋友都是企业家或者即将创业的人。我的周围都是这样类型的人自然地让我以更积极的态度思考中国。

I guess you can say I am comfortable and that's why I still enjoy China.
What I don't like other than the normal China bashing like no queuing and sometimes very roundabout ways of doing stuff bla bla bla (it's china get over it) is first foremost the feeling of home which you never quite get here it's always in the back of your head and you know deep down here you are a put up with guest not quite 100% welcomed but guest non the less (I am not talking about general citizens they are great and I have lots of laughs and gets together with them) but that feeling has at least in the last year grown enormously. There is also the feeling of family here being an expat here there's never going to be that feeling you accept it and move on but those are the two major negatives for me.

我对中国的生活感到很舒适，这是我为什么现在仍然很享受在中国生活的原因
我不喜欢中国的地方并非那些用来抨击中国的事情，比如插队吖，拐弯抹角的做事方式吖等等（这是中国，你得克服），我最不喜欢的还是我找不到一种家的归属感，这种感觉一直在你脑海中回旋，你在心里深处知道你是一个被忍受的客人，你在这儿并不是百分百的被接纳，你不过是个暂居此地的客人罢了（我并不是说那些普通市民，他们很棒，我和他们也经常在互相来往，一起开怀大笑）但是这种感觉在最近的一年里变的尤其明显。还有就是没有亲情的感觉，作为一个在国外侨居的人，你永远也找不到那种情感，你得接受，然后向前看。对我而言，这是我对不喜欢的两点。

Living in China allowed me a life do-over. I wanted to come to China initially because I just wanted something different but man it’s been a wild ride.

住在中国让我重生了。 来中国的初衷只是我想生活有所变动，但是现在已经变成一个疯狂的旅行。

An easy work week. 12–14 hours at Sichuan University a week
I’ve traveled more in China than I have back home in the USA
I have friends from all over China and all over the world
Amazing and crazy food
I have done things that my friends could never have dreamed of back home
Learning a new language
I met my (Chinese) wife here!
I have a chance to vlog and show people the lives they could have

每星期的工作很简单，在四川大学一周只需工作12-14小时
我在中国旅行过的地方比我在老家美国还多。
我有来自中国各地和世界各的朋友。
让人惊叹和疯狂的食物。
我已经做过在老家的朋友们想都没想过的事情。
正在学习一门新语言。
我还遇见了我的妻子（中国人）！
并且有机会成为了视频博客主，给中国人展示了他们可以做到的不同生活方式。
