The grown up looking woman like Gong Li or Maggie Cheung. They look very beautiful in my European eyes. I don't like the childlike women who are 30 but look like 16. Most of the actresses Leslie Cheung acted with, are attractive, adult women.

Admittedly, Chinese people don't think she is as beautiful as American people does . It is because we measure woman's appearance with different standards that the definition of beauty varies from country to country.

Actually, most of millennials have no idea who these women are. For them, especially those are not into movies, these famous stars are out of fashion and far away from their life, even these stars show up on the news, they can’t catch the teenagers’ attention. They like those younger stars. sorry i have no idea to upload image on the comment, or i can show you some pictures. The 5th photo looks like over-exposure of light. Fair complexion is seen as attractive so the lighting are often accentuated to “pale” the skin colour, but it’s really overly done in that photo.

Asian people generally look younger than Caucasian people. I don't know but I sent these girls’ photo to my Chinese friends and asked them to guess the age, and they said the girls who you think are below 10 yrs old are APPARENTLY older, even in their 20s.

I know very well that these girls are not 10 years old. I know mostly they are in their 20’s (I live in China, so I see this every day).

My point is to say that they have emphasized their features to make themselves look youthful to the point of being childlike.
