Philippine President Rodrigo Duterte is alive and well the government said on Tuesday amid concerns about his disappearance from the public eye for unusually long periods this month.

The only reason I see why some people don't like Duterte is because he dares not to be politically correct. He speaks his mind. But he gets the job done. Some people want a leader who is sweet-talking 'polished' and grammatically correct even if they are blatant crooks and only cares about what they can get into their pockets.

If I had that man's problems I would be in low profile mode until I had the situation in Mindanao worked out. He had run off at the mouth about the US under Obama but seems to have welcomed Trump. I am sure he is relieved our special forces are providing logistical support and prays they can help eliminate the jihadists. His problem will be keeping them out. He has so many unemployed perhaps draft them into his military to increase his defenses.

This is old news and is more than two weeks old. Remember that Mr. Duterte had not had rest since his abruptly cut state visit to Russia due to the Marawi City siege. He stayed awake for the most part due to the security crisis in the said Mindanao city. He's human too you know so what's the big deal? Stop bashing him for his humanness.
