The blazing pace hasn’t dented Chinese wages – yet – but it might influence the global economy according to a report this week by Bloomberg Intelligence. Automation may drive productivity gains and export competitiveness but the rising use of robots also threatens to exacerbate domestic income inequality undermining consumption.

Yep. We do not have any option of slowing down the rate of smart automation to artificially prolong our capitalist economy. We're in a forced competition economic and military that will make our capitalist arrangements obsolete. We should already be planning for this instead of dithering about 18th century economic dogmas and 19th century julep dreams.

This article which will be passed over by the majority is of greater concern to everyday workers than 90% of the issues the blowhards keep insisting matters. It must be nice to be old enough to have prospered from assembly line jobs and retired comfortably. Then yell about statues taxes and liberals. Meanwhile leaving the youth with no plan for the future. Robots are one issue. Artificial intelligence will surpass human processing power in the next 10 years. When our computers start designing computers that are smarter than the computers we designed we will have real issues to deal with. I really hate the way our old people have set the young up for failure. Its no wonder the millennials are rebellious and weird. Look at the disdain the boomers showed for gen x. Ironically its Gen X who will be tasked with saving the future.

Robotics came to the United States in the 1960s that's why wages increase and the over all labor cost went down; Labor cost was never the reason for companies to move over seas. Through regulations and taxes governments can control the price of goods. Nowhere in the World is that truer than with the American Farmer. The American Farmer can out perform other countries farmers in the world if governments world trade regulations weren't in place. The American Farmer How would other countries farms survive with out world trade regulations?

If The United States can move manufacturing jobs to China or Mexico where unskill uneducated farmers are the largest percentage of the workers.Why not automation. I guess the reason is automation doesn't create a growing economy. That's why the United States needs to be a welfare state and paid their over educated workers skill $15.00 dollars an hour to flip hamburgers.

The Chinese ultimate goal is the world conquest. Towards the east it will acquire the South and the East China Sea go into the Pacific and defeat the United States in the near future. Towards the west it will conquer Europe and Africa with one belt one road strategy.
