The band is called Hanggai. The intro ofthis song is called 呼麦(pronounced like who my） which is the same technique used in Tengeri's Heaven. It's atraditional Mongolian vocal skill. As far as I know, it's a skill that singercan make two sounds at a time and the two sounds are both controllable.

这个乐队被称为“杭盖”。这首歌开头部分被称为“呼麦”，这种发声技巧同样也用在了腾格尔的《天堂》这首歌中。

Mongolianthroat singing is a traditional vocal practice passed down generation togeneration. Not commonly heard in Western music, but if you are familiar withPentatonix and their original bass singer Avi Kaplan, he would use itoccasionally in their music. It's also called polyphonic singing or overtonesinging. There are multiple notes being sung by one person. Great reaction andI love the enthusiasm you have with spreading the joy that comes from music andsinging.. Been singing for most of my life and I love all types of music. Theirisn't a style out there that I haven't been able to find something I enjoy.

Oh,yes, Hanggai. I stumbled upon them some years ago, when YouTube offered me avideo called "Tuvan Throat Singing". I had never heard of that beforeand was really blown away by what these guys can do with their voices. So Isearched some more videos and soon came across Hanggai and their mix of musicalstyles. Absolutely great. If you're interested, here is the first video ontuvan throat singing I watched back then. It's in a traditional style, so nohard rock influences there. But much more of that throat singing. And no, thereare no flutes in this song, and no multiple voice tracks (as far as I couldfind out):
And here's a second one from the same guy (Saydaş Monguş). Atabout 1 minute 28 seconds he produces the deepest tones I've ever heard from a humanvoice. And his friends do some very nice singing, too...
