Last week, police in China found the24-year-old alive and well, having spent the last decade living and playing ininternet cafes.

Police found the woman using a fake IDcard during a routine check of an internet cafe. Once they took her to thestation, she confessed that she had run away and had been living on handoutsfrom other cafe users, occasionally picking up a cashier job to make some extramoney.

"She told the police that she had beenbrought up by her grandparents."
Since most of the rest of this article was lifted verbatim from the source atStar Online, how strange they decided to leave this detail out.

ROFL, I was going to come here to make ajoke about her playing World of Warcraft for 10 years, only to read that sheactually WAS playing video games... too funny (to me anyways).

Chinese, Thai, Korean Japanese, Indiananywhere in the far east people can be unbelivably stubborn but more so inChina than anywhere is why they are so stupid and poor.

Routine? so cops go around and card people using the net? Wow

its doable! live without having a permanentplace ! you got the internet caf but not here in the USA ! But you do have thelibrary! where I am they are open 9-9 and on Sat/Sun with shorter hours! thenyou have 24 hour gyms with access by card their are always coffee shops fastfood places malls so if you got a car your clothes are there so all you need isa place to crash ! and in many cities you can rent a room relatively cheap Iread the ads in the paper every day! get a PO BOX computers at the library itcan be done ! and depending on what type of work you do no one is the wiser!see I know a guy that for over a year lived in a hunting blind ! that's a placea hunter hides to wait for animals o kill when hunting ! he told me hisgirlfriend was #$%$ so he lived in it ! there was a wooded area behind a gym heset it up no one went there he worked out at the gym showered went to workwhich was across the street at a grocery store ! when it got cold he had a subzero sleeping bag !!!!!!!!!! plus he wasn't paying rent to anyone

On the other hand, I bet she's really goodat Starcraft and Call of Duty now.

Only in China (or Korea, maybe). Thenagain, if you had to live in a place like that, no privacy, being aroundyammering people every waking second, maybe you would shut down and loseyourself in video games all day every day, too.
