I am an Indian now residing in china..from my experience,most of the Chinese common people never care about political stuffs and are not very keen about knowing other countries' traditions and various things..they simply love their family life, clubs, and enjoy their own matters..we Indians are totally different from them since we have so much diversity in our motherland and we are naturally curious and more inclined to trying and widening our interests..I don't find anything wrong that these people in video so less about us..when you come to know the people, there is no such differences in country or other things...China is very beautiful country like my motherland...I love India the most, Not only because I am born and brought up there, but because there is no other place on earth where our true emotions and joy can be found..it's my countries core values which give me respect?

Made in China stuff is very diversified, it can be a 1 dollar product such as a plastic cup to an Apple computer. It just depends on what you are buying. But I kind of understand you saying that China's products are bad because in India majority of people are not even able to buy any "expensive" stuff, so I guess basically you guys are using a lot of the "1 dollar products". If you think those 1 dollar stuff is going to last forever and having best quality, it will not be possible. No matter what country it is made from it's just not possible.

From 2009-2013 i stayed 4 years in India(3 years in North and 1 years in South) i can tell where they are most likely from by a look at them. Those who say that all Chinese look like same like jackie chan are the ones who have not seen more than 3 Chinese in person..just like my mom said why all Americans look the same?!

Eagle Yi Buddha was only born there. Most of his life till death was spent in India and there was no such thing as Nepal at that time. So in any case he was not a Nepalese  passport holder.
Anyways does it matter where he was born??

I am from Singapore and we are a multi racial society. I have many India friends. We went to school together, work together, served in the Army together and  my neighbors are Indians. I like Indian food especially the North Indian curry.

You are basically repeating what the government and media in Singapore likes to repeat again and again and portray in parrot fashion. Perhaps that's how you got brain-washed in the first place to think everybody in Singapore is getting along fine? You are speaking from the point of view of the Majority (76% of Singapore are Chinese), try to bring yourself down and put yourself in the shoes of the minority Indians in Singapore and perhaps you may really know how we feel about the situation in Singapore. As someone of Indian ethnicity who was born in Singapore and grew up here for 34 years, i can tell you that life here isn't all that positive. The majority of the Chinese in Singapore do not give a hood about Indians. If anything, they look up to Caucasians or other Asians like Koreans or the Japanese.

Even he mentioned himself that Singapore isn't ready for a non-Chinese PM, what the hell is that supposed to mean?  And most of the Indian cabinet ministers are married to Chinese wives. Go figure.

It is like saying you can't find this sort of thing anywhere else on earth. Like are you telling me such things don't happen in other countries like Malaysia, Australia, Canada or even in India/China itself?

Songlin LEE It is common in India. We visit temples, churches, mosques and gurudwaras. We believe that religion is just a form of worshipping and it doesn't which religion you choose, you should have pure faith in the Almighty.

I am a Sri Lankan has lots of Indian friends but I feel majority of Indians are selfish when it comes to life. /Working ect.. I studied in Singapore and I prefer Singaporean ( regardless of race) and Malaysian Chinese to hang out with and don't know why  I get them and mix with them easily than Indians.. no offence my Indian friends this is my pointer view and experience I had. It may be the case India over populated and they become selfish. But not all like that.. please don't miss understand me

hunk_1231 no offence friend I have being in India for like 10 months 2013 .. I loved the place very friendly people for foreigners, in Bangalore I was.. I got lots of friends most of them from north India.. I keep up with them still. What I told you the experience I have not only with Indians even Chinese from mainland also shows the similar behaviour when it comes to work and public life sharing. So my experience is that. I believe due to the over population in both the countries.. the competition of life may be. it becomes normal for them but not for others. That's my experience I have as a person who lived in few countries,with different localities. Share the life with them.. In India people are extremely friendly to me as a foreigner but not in other countries when I met them ... Then it different.. don't know why.. peace brother!!?

Gaya Seth , except for Shiddi Arabia , India has the greatest wealth disparity.  People in India r starving, India may have the richest individuals, I don't deny that, but there is no economic opportunity for poor ppl to rise up economically like America/China.   The wealth disparity & barrier to entry in India is due to gov corruption plus a self contempt Indians have towards themselves  thanks to the Hindu Caste system & large Muslim population. Guyanese & Trinidadians of Indian descent hate Indians from India, their criticism is Indians will never help others get rich & extremely spiteful . In NYC when Indians/Muslims move in business declines, they r the minorities who depress wage growth, many Indian IT  workers/doctors r hired because they accept far lower wages, IT ppl I talk to tell me they r barely capable  do the rudimentary work & r useless when problems that require creative thinking r involved.  Angelo Perez is probably describing what happens in his neighborhood. Indians will literally shit where they eat, I see them dropping garbage on the floor w/out any remorse, when u say Indian to an American, the 1st thought is dirt & odor. b4 I retired I had a chain of retail stores & a wholesale business, Indian retailers will sweep garbage to their neighbors as oppose to sweeping up trash & putting it in the garbage, they r a blight to any community?

Are Yaar, Chinese people are not much exposed to the worldly affairs so why get offended if they don't know you. India is still in a developing stage, because of its diversity our country will take a little bit more time to get developed but when it will the whole world will know it and and all the stereotyping related to Indian population will go away. Same is what I feel for the racism issue that is being made into a big problem in India, I would only say that it's really early to come to a conclusion that Indians are racist, let the country develop first and let most of the people get exposed to various cultures of the world and then let's decide if India is racist or not. Many times people come from outside, even from inside the country, it's not easy to understand normal jokes or excitement to learn about each other and people get offended.

Please take time to understand people, humans are not that easy to understand that you just pass your judgement about a race or a culture or a country by just meeting one person for 5 minutes. Most of the time people who ask you certain questions that offend you never meant to offend you, they were just being curious and you take it as insult. Even I get stupid questions like why all of you say ‘bhaiya' in north, I mean is that even a question? But I never get agitated and reply rudely, I simply say that just like you address an unknown male as kaka in Gujarat or Anna in some southern parts of India etc , we call a stranger as Bhaiya. I never made any conclusions that that person doesn't like me or is being racist or rude. It definitely takes time to understand a culture so just be a little open minded.......I wrote about racism as I feel it's really the need of the hour, we should refrain from assuming every genuine (maybe silly) question as being a racist attack.?

I wont say we smell of curry but we are infamous for smelling bad, this is not just Chinese who this, many people in the west all think like this, when I was in a shopping centre, there were Indian student  in the changing room and been were complaining about smell and the seem was coming from Indian students and as an Indian i was also there and it made feel embarrassed. In genetics, Chinese people have less active sweat glands hence why they dont smell as bad, Indians in general have a lot of active sweat glands hence why the smell, plus the body doesn't help either.?

i mean to say we too know very little about china. like we know about Bangladesh srilanka nepal pakistan very well. but when it comes to china we have different perception. their weirdest food and all. so may be if u ask indians about chinese they too say these thing about Chinese. but chinese should know if someone eats currry it doesn't mean they will smell the same. we too have perception that chinese eat snakes frogs and all other insects. so if u go by their logic they too smell like a snake a frog or wirdest insects. so its funny to hear chinese logic. its the funniest reply for me. if someone eats vegetables they smell like grass or plants. lol?

It's actually a western stereotype. The Chinese have been aping the westerns just as many of us have been. For example, the derogatory term Chinkie, which is now popular among  Indian racists was originally a British racial slur. We too have our own share of stereotypes about the Chinese !?
