SAIGON, VIETNAM: Traffic in South-East Asia is horrendous! At least for someone coming from Western Europe or America. I used to think the streets of Bangkok were congested but that was until I got on an Uber motorbike which drove me around downtown Saigon.

With more motorbikes than there are people, no wonder the traffic police have an impossible job: make people respect a red light! Great ride Harald....driving this way seems to work pretty good for them and nobody really driving that fast....not crazy about them ignoring the traffic signals though.

        True that. The speeds aren't that great at least when the road is congested. Someone falls off and chances are they can walk away with a bit of luck as we saw towards the end of this video.

In VN, you can fit 1 cow, 2 goats and 6 chickens on a motorbike.  Motorbike accident is an everyday thing, the good part is that most times, you're going at low speed, so you just brush yourself off, get back on the bike and move on. No hospital, no lawyers, no police and no problem
