Moscow (AFP) - President Vladimir Putinsaid on Thursday that Russia had given prior information to the United Statesof the flight path of the plane downed by Turkey on the Syrian border.

莫斯科（法新社）——总统普京周四称俄罗斯先前已经给美国提供了被土耳其击落战机的飞行路线信息。

"The American side, which leads thecoalition that Turkey belongs to, knew about the location and time of ourplanes' flights, and we were hit exactly there and at that time," Putinsaid at a joint press conference with French counterpart Francois Hollande inthe Kremlin.

Turkey and Obama do not want Russia to gaininfluence in the Syria or build strong ties with Iran. No Chinese planes, helicopters, or missileswere involved. They are playing it smart and staying out of the Middle Eastmess and just buying the oil. Oddly, ISIS is not attacking China - or Mexico,Brazil, South Africa, etc. Anyone who goes to the Middle East to try and 'fix'it only gets entangled in the quicksand. It is a region of death anddestruction - a huge wall should be built around the Middle East - nobody in orout - just oil and gas pipelines.

Turkey is actually worse than Russia,because it will always be an islamic country that does not respect human rights(women in particular). Russia is communist, bad, but at least they share thesame Christian values as the rest of the Western world. In addition, Turkey hadfought wars and showed aggression towards Europe for hundreds of years, about800 years to be more exact. And I think in this instance Putin is right. Butequally guilty, Putin brought down that passenger plane not so long ago overUkraine. It's just a war between bad guys, better US stay away from it.

Russia fired cluster bombs around border camps housing thousands of Syrianrefugees in the weeks before one of its jets was shot down by Turkish fighterjets.
The area around the Yamadi camp, a few hundred metres from the Turkish border,was targeted by Russian strikes three times in the past month. The nearbyAubain camp was struck by a cluster bomb on November 9, killing four people andinjuring dozens more.
The clashes and airstrikes intensified over the weekend, with at least 50people killed and 500 injured by Russian and regime airstrikes and shelling inthe area.

This is all BS. Anyone who knows anythingabout airspace control knows someone knew what was going on. I don't likeRussia but I have a tendency to believe part of what Putin said. The ADIZ iscontrolled by someone and since we are supposedly, according Obama, leading thefight it's on us to control it. What's reprehensible is the Turks shot thepilot in direct contravention to the Geneva Convention. Obama has an obligationto denounce the action by the Turkish pilot.
