+tiffany hwang Yeah it is sad how much we are stereotyped. I am a Punjabi from northern India. I am not dark skinned. I am actually quite pale. We have so much diversity here which can be mind boggling for Japanese which is a very homogeneous county.

+tiffany hwang Wow did they really say that in this video?   I wondered if they didn't provide English subtitles b/c they were saying really racist stuff about Indians (i.e., too dark skinned or something like that)

他们在视频里说咱又黑又穷啦？我猜他们不在视频上打英语字幕八成是因为他们在说种族歧视印度人的事情，类似说咱特别黑之类的（视频自动配有字幕，可以选择英语字幕）

+Mickey S But there wouldn't be anything wrong with you if you were dark skinned.  There's a whole lot of people in India and Africa that are dark skinned.  They count just the same as everyone who is pale skinned.  I always figured East Asians (Japanese, Chinese, Koreans) were racist but I never realized it was this bad.  They didn't even want to provide English subtitles b/c the people were saying so many disparaging stuff about Indians.

Can you please stop first.. whoever mistaken. You should acknowledge the fact that the one who get provoked on being called black/white is himself racist at the first place.
Saying on a silent note, do you even realize what kind of image you are imparting of India with your comments, leave that other guy.

I was trying to break the stereotype hollywood and western media has created about Indians. That they are brown people with funny accent. How me trying to break that stereotype makes me a racist? idiots are out in full force today it seems. I was agreeing with original poster who undetstanda that Indians come in different colors.
