没有永远的幸福：“童话镇”在七季后被取消 [美国媒体]

“Once Upon A Time” is getting its not-so-fairytale ending. ABC announced on Tuesday that the fantasy series’ seventh season would be its last on the network. 

“童话镇”并没有落下其童话般美满的结局。美国广播公司周二宣布，第七季将是该剧的剧终季。

“Seven years ago we set out to create a show about hope where even in the darkest of times a happy ending would always be possible” creators and executive producers Adam Horowitz and Eddy Kitsis said in a statement to TVLine. “But we never imagined the happy ending that was actually in store for all of us — years and years of adventure romance magic and hope. We’re so grateful to our brilliant collaborators — the cast crew and writers — as well as our partners at the studio and network for making this journey possible. But most of all we want to thank the fans. Their fierce loyalty and devotion was the real magic behind ‘Once Upon a Time.’ We hope they join us for these last few hours as we journey to the Enchanted Forest for one more adventure.”

The series essentially rebooted itself after mainstays including Jennifer Morrison and Ginnifer Goodwin departed as regulars at the end of the sixth season. The current season which returns from an extended break in March picked up in Seattle where a brand new curse ensnared some of the most famous fairytale figures of them all.

However ratings dipped to series lows averaging 2.5 million total viewers and a 0.5 rating per episode as the show was shuffled to air on Friday nights.

Back in January ABC president Channing Dungey said she was “cautiously optimistic” about a possible renewal for the series but apparently the magic had already run out.

“When we first heard Adam and Eddy’s pitch for ‘Once Upon a Time’ we knew it was something incredibly special” Dungey said in a statement. “For seven years they have captivated us with their creativity and passion while reimagining some of our most beloved Disney fairytales creating an undeniable global hit. Saying goodbye will be bittersweet but ‘Once Upon a Time’ will forever be part of the ABC legacy and we can’t wait for fans to join us in this epic final chapter.”

Its good that the show is ending it was good at the beginning but the storylines just started getting weird and making impossible to follow

Not surprised. I thought they show should've ended last season with everyone living happily ever after. I tried watching this season but most of the characters lacked the 'charm' of the original cast.

It started out kind of interesting then turned into ridiculous chick flick fantasy. I stopped watching about the time that one of the seven dwarves fell in love with a fairy and got some pixie dust from somewhere to make her love him back Yecch. Although I must say that the evil queen is a total hottie.

I knew this was coming. Show jumped the shark with this reboot. Became unwatchable.

I really enjoyed this show but then the story lines started wandering way beyond any logical plot. Peter Pan the father of some other character! Uhmmm no. Then certain stories just never resolved anything happily ever after or what?

我真的很喜欢这部剧，但是故事情节渐渐变得不符合逻辑。 彼得·潘竟然是某一个角色的父亲！不不不不不。之后剧中很多故事情节都没有得到圆满解决，又怎么能说是幸福结局呢？
