Investigators have rushed to the scene in the Beshennaya channel of the Amur River in Khabarovsk.

Initially a single hand was spotted, then the bag containing a total of 54 severed hands.

Normally,hands are removed to help prevent proof of identity ,54 may be a significant number in society,most likely this was / is some kind of punishment.hopefully dna tests will be done to see where these body parts came from
