President Trump cited an “unusual and extraordinary threat” to U.S. national security as he acted Friday to maintain long-standing economic restrictions on North Korea, including the freezing of any assets in the United States.

周五川普采取措施继续保持对朝鲜的长期经济限制，包括冻结在美国的任何资产，称朝鲜为“非同寻常和特别的威胁”。

The official declaration, contained in a notice to Congress, came despite Trump’s assertion this month that his historic summit with North Korean leader Kim Jong Un ended the North’s nuclear weapons threat.

“Sleep well tonight!” Trump tweeted June 13, the day after he and Kim met in Singapore.

Harsh economic restrictions will continue for one year under the order Trump signed Friday. The paperwork keeps in place restrictions first imposed a decade ago by President George W. Bush. The ban on the transfer of any U.S. assets by North Korea’s leaders or its ruling party has been extended or expanded several times by both President Barack Obama and Trump himself in response to North Korean missile tests and other actions.

I fully expect that before the midterms, Trump will endorse the Flat Earth conspiracy, posthumously pardon Charles Manson, and actually shoot someone on Fifth avenue.  Syphilis is no laughing matter.

Gee, I suppose those on the Left think this is also a failure. No other President since the Korean Ware has be able to receive the remains of our fallen vets.
Despite Trumps generally craziness, this is a positive step for families who lost loved ones over 60 years ago.  Now here come the critics bashing this news.

我猜左翼也会觉得这是个失败。自朝鲜战争以来，没有其他总统能从朝鲜拿回美军遗憾。

False. Trump is not the first to repatriate remains. Also - you have a short memory. A year ago Trump was refusing the remains because, Trump. NK wanted to return them for some credit. Trump said no.  So, he was using them as a bargaining chip then, and he’s exploiting them now for his own self-aggrandizement. 

你错了。川普并非首个拿回美军遗骸的总统。而且你记性很不好。一年前川普拒绝了这些遗骸，因为朝鲜想有条件的归还，被川普拒绝了。所以这不过是川普的谈判筹码罢了。
