BEIJING (Reuters) - The United States and China must find a way forward on reining in North Korea's nuclear program and easing tension in the South China Sea, U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry said on Wednesday during a meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

北京(路透社)－美国国务卿约翰克里于周三会见中国外长王毅时声称，美国和中国必须找到推动解决朝核问题的办法，并且缓和南海的紧张局势。

Kerry, on a two-day visit to Beijing, had been expected to press China to push for more curbs on North Korea after it said it had successfully conducted a test of a miniaturized hydrogen nuclear device on Jan. 6.

Beijing, Pyongyang's lone major backer, has criticized remarks by State Department officials urging China to do more as irresponsible, saying it has made great efforts to achieve denuclearisation on the Korean peninsula.

How stupid is this? Kerry is still going there and trying to tell China to knuckle under...while also trying to work against China. Is there anybody out there that wants to help out the guy that's trying hard to trip you up? The problem here is that Washington seems to think that "moving forward" is to do everything that Washington wants. They don't seem to get that other people have their own ideas about what they might want to do.

How is it possible to find a way forward with China's my way or the highway diplomacy? China is not a diplomatic country. China does not understand diplomacy because China is a no rule of law nation. Since China does not apply rule of law domestically or internationally what is there to gain by working with China?
