Chinese qualifier Zhang Shuai kept her Australian Open dream alive Monday as she battled past injured and tearful 15th seed Madison Keys and into a quarter-final against British hope Johanna Konta.

Keys faking yet another injury. Watch how she enters the next tournament in the next week. The real truth it, Zhang Shuai beat her fair and square, and madison HAD to act like she was injured so she could get 'let off'. And, in reality, keys isn't even that great of a player. You don't become "great", being inconsistent.

Now that Li Na is retired some of the pressure is off of Zhang, This tournament shows us that there are A LOT of players out there that could do what Zhang is doing,her game is not as good as other Chinese women you haven't even heard of yet, it just takes time to get those points and climb.For now, I hope she continues to succeed but I am excited about the more versatile and strategically competent players on the rise, now if they would move their feet, not be so emotionally weird and do the work, the likes of Zhang would be considered average.

So what would you do if you were Zhang Shuai???? Should Zhang retire...to let Keys win???? This is competitive sports for crying out loud. If Keys' playing on one leg (* by her own choice)....with too much pain to continue...maybe Keys should have retired from the match.
BTW, Zhang won the third set and the match. Good for her!!!! Pathetic for you, steve.
