Beijing (AFP) - A knife-wielding assailanthacked at children in a Chinese schoolyard on Monday, wounding 10 beforekilling himself, police and reports said, the latest such attack in thecountry.

北京（法新社）——周一一男子在中国学校里持刀行凶，砍伤10名学生，然后自杀，警方和媒体报道，这是中国最新的一起这类型事件。

Pupils were lining up to go home at the endof the morning session when the man struck, slashing at several children beforefleeing, the state-run China News Service cited a witness as saying.

The Chinese seem to see things so much moreclearly than American politicians and media. Instead of blaming knives, thereare "calls for more research into the root causes of such acts".
What they'll find is that the root cause isindustrialization, which emphasizes "me" instead of "us",puts people on a treadmill, and destroys the family unit. Oddly enough, I saythis even though I'm a staunch capitalist.
Human evolution is a story that's a fewhundred thousand years old, but we only recently turned the page ofindustrialization, just over one lifetime ago.

These cases in China are quite differentfrom the US. In the US, someone would have grievance toward a boss, a coworker,a teacher or a group of people. In China, such individuals cannot find anyindividual in his life that he has grievance against. Obviously, every Chinesehe encountered is treating him with extra care and friendliness. But yet, suchindividuals are very angry at the Chinese society. Some are known to practicesome Qi Gong's, such as Falun Gong. The way they vent their intense and irrationalanger is to attack children, because that hurt the society most. They do notcare and do not know the parents of these children.
