BEIJING (Reuters) - China will release water from a dam in its southwestern province of Yunnan to help alleviate a drought in parts of Southeast Asia, including Vietnam, China's Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

北京（路透社）-中国外交部周二宣布，为帮助包括越南在内的东南亚地区缓解旱情，中国在其位于西南部的云南省开闸放水。

The water will be released until April 10 from the Jinghong dam, ministry spokesman Lu Kang told a daily news briefing.

外交部发言人陆慷在例行记者会上宣布，景洪水电站将会持续开闸放水至4月10号。

It will benefit Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand and Vietnam, Lu added.

With the puppet Hun Sen installed by it, Vietnam has pulverized Cambodia's huge tropical rainforests that affect the rainfalls and the climate is being irreversibly damaged. Jungles produce rains and when they are gone, so are the rainfalls. Vietnam must stop bullying Cambodia.

The entire south Vietnam agriculture depends on this river... China has a huge leverage with those dams, which were definitely built just for that purpose.

Talk about the News Media misleading us. In this case, Reuters created an article about China releasing water into the Mekong river, and in a photo, a "...dried up fishery... in Cavite province south of Manila..." All the dams in China could be opened up, and Cavite province would not get any water from the release into Cavite, much less this particular dried fish pond. Remember, China is on Mainland Asia, and the Republic of the Philippines, where Cavite province is, is a group of islands located between the Western Pacific, and the South China Sea, and about 600 miles south of the Chinese mainland at the closest point. I don't think Reuters is stupid. Instead, I am becoming convinced that this kind of misleading information is intentional disinformation.
