India and China are not competing economies. Their "rivalry" is played up for propaganda purposes. They are at different stages of development and stand to produce/export different goods to foreign markets. Their increased cooperation would be beneficial for Indian development and the Chinese consumer's purchasing power.

True. But, China has the US, Japan and possibly Australia to worry about which are more significant powers than Pakistan. The US recently renamed their Pacific Command to the Indo-Pacific Command so as to signal their new priorities. It's all about geo-strategic positioning.
As India gets richer, Pakistan will get more and more bitter.
Are you saying that they could become a rogue nuclear state? Well, yes, that is a distinct possibility. They are on the verge of bankruptcy anyway and negotiating their 13th bailout loan from the IMF. Pakistan will indeed become more of a wildcard but the US and Israel keep a close eye on their nukes (since Israel is the second most likely target for rogue Pakistani nukes after India).

Rubbish, India is one of the world's top 10 FDI locations and has even been rank 1 a few years ago. Warren Buffet just announced a 360 million dollar investment in an Indian startup yesterday, Walmart put in 17 billion dollars to acquire Flipkart earlier this year, Samsung opened up the world's largest smartphone assembly/manufacturing unit there this month.
As for private companies getting screwed over - there are many such stories sadly, but that doesn't mean investment has stopped.
