US forces in Okinawa are to be put under night-time curfew for a month following the suspected rape and murder of a woman by a former US marine, officials said Saturday.

Well that may or may not be true, but in many cases what one man does can sure as hell lead to Nations at each others throats. In my experience, the Marine Corps was always a tough organization where it came to discipline, unfortunately this shows that you have no control over what someone does after they leave the military. The rapist in this case may have been a Former Marine, but he was just that, a former Marine. I say, let him be tried by the Japanese and punished by them. He will get what he deserves.
