They have a saying, that one man can change the world if he wants to make the effort. Well that may or may not be true, but in many cases what one man does can sure as hell lead to Nations at each others throats. In my experience, the Marine Corps was always a tough organization where it came to discipline, unfortunately this shows that you have no control over what someone does after they leave the military. The rapist in this case may have been a Former Marine, but he was just that, a former Marine. I say, let him be tried by the Japanese and punished by them. He will get what he deserves.

The reporters stress he is a former Marine. What does that have to do with the crime? I wish one of these articles would post his picture.

Enough is enough. We can't afford to lose the prestige of our American Armed Forces stationed at overseas by those bad #$%$. The US should do the right thing. Let's turn him over to the Japanese court of law and let them deal with him in a way that is appropriate.

This has happened a few times so I really don't blame the people of Okinawa for wanting this base of their island. Most of the time this happens it's usually a black or Hispanic guy that does it...just figured I'd toss that in there.
