This may come as a surprise to most Americans given the trillions of dollars in debt added to the country’s balance sheet and the sacrifices made by the country’s armed forces fighting terrorism and radical Islam since the Sept. 11 2001 attacks but according to the Beijing-based Global Times newspaper which often expresses the views of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) the U.S. is the biggest source of global strategic risks.

While discussing Russian President Vladimir Putin’s visit to Beijing on Saturday the Global Times said that China and Russia vowed to strengthen global strategic stability.

Russia tried.. we shot down one of their planes and armed the rebels theyre fighting adn complain when they kill those rebels. .So dont blame Russia for not trying.. they did.

The Crimea is also going to be a source of semi-tropical fruits and vegetables once the bridge is complete. There will be no 2% GDP reduction in 2016 if anything there will be a small rise. Their recession is over as long as oil stays above $45

You’d be surprised how US makes the really big foreign policy decisions for the last 7+ years. It simply reduces down to how it will play in the US media. If you think Obama was thinking in any big way when he made his decision on Crimea you’re wrong. It was just made with respect to how it would look. He liked the idea of how he would be seen ‘standing up for the oppressed’ or the ‘power to the people’ aspect of it which would go over well for the vast majority that didn’t know much about it. It was happening at about the same time as the oh so well received ‘occupy Wall Street’ stupidity. It was a no brainer for the White House ‘let’s do that!’. It appears that the US wants hegemony but all they really want is good press and high poll numbers.
