I left China and studied in US 6 years ago. Even though i went back home at least once a year, I still feel that I am so much left behind. The rapid development of China fascinates its own people. I am glad I will be back home soon to be involved in this amazing process and to catch up!!

Yes, your not wrong about rapid development because I was very surprised and even shocked to learn about China 4G mobile network which signed up and incredible approximate 25 million subscribers in 1 month. They rolled out 1 million mobile towers which makes our mobile network look tiny in comparison. AUSTRALIA 15,000 TOWERS, CHINA 1 MILLION TOWERS. 😨 And if this was amazing enough possibly everything else is double or triple of America. Solar Power, Hydro, Wind, Coal and even though I don't like it nuclear power plants are being built.Fastest train in the world or one of the fastest.Unbelievably huge airports modern and efficient.
In many ways China is the envy of the world. ☺

关于急速发展那块你说的对，我当初知道中国的4g网络在一个月的时间里被2500万人申请时就震惊了。他们建了100万座信号塔，相比之下我们的手机网络不值一提了。澳大利亚15000座信号塔，中国100万～～座。另外如果这个算牛b的话，其他方面大概也有美国的两三倍吧。太阳能、电力、风能和煤矿，甚至还有好多核能厂在建..虽然我不是很喜欢。他们还有世界上最快的高铁，或者说之一？还有好多巨型机场，又现代又便捷。
中国在许多方面都是世界嫉妒的对象了。☺

They always talk about the 'evil chinese government" as if america hasn't prosecuted people unjustly - how about all the whistleblowers who have ALREADY been terrorized?

By the way, although wechat is a very nice and useful app, we wouldn't use it for so much time. Because the Chinese app market is really competitive, it's not enough for you to attract some users just by having some stores listed on your apps. Wechat could do many things, but the point is, it couldn't do every thing best. If I want to order some food on an phone app, I would choose Meituan firstly, because the information on that app is most abundant and Meituan could provide the best discount. So where is all the information on Meituan come from? There's another app called Dazhongdianping, encouraging its users to leave feedback on every store they entered, and Meituan cooperated with this app, borrowed some feedback to help its users make choices. The Chinese software is a complete system which is now still expanding, you wouldn't just stay in one app all the time even if this app can provide very nice functions. To me, Wechat is simply a social software I use to cooperate with my team, and to communicate with other guys.

话说，尽管微信挺不错的，但我不会所有时间都用它。因为中国的app市场竞争很激烈，有时候光是把那些店名摆在系统里是不够的。微信功能挺全，但问题是它不可能把每件事都做到最好。比如说，我要是想点些吃的，我会先用美团，因为...（后面就是介绍美团、大众点评等的恩怨纠葛、爱恨情仇）

Just letting you know Tencent started their business in 1994 and Facebook if you use the wonderful Google or Wikipedia it shows the company started in 2004, so..... Btw, if you open your iPhone location you will notice that your iPhone knows where is your "home" your "work" and so on, that how "Google" tells you " you are XXX miles away from home"

social network, which in USA invented has almost invaded the whole world. 10 years ago, we German in Germany use a network called StudivZ, now this network don't exist. almost the whole world is now controlled by some technology companies which are located in Califonia. If Amazon and YouTube didn't collect my pravite information, how they recommand the similar videos or things that i interested?

I've lived in Shanghai for 10 years, and yeah, Wechat is a game changer. It's only really become what it is now in the last two years. You can pretty much do everything, and I mean everything, from it. I have friends who basically haven't used cash, debit or a credit card in months to pay for things. Everything is done through Wechat on their phone. It's cool and kind of weird at the same time.

我在上海住了十多年，微信确实是个规则改变者。不过它也是最近两年才变成现在这样的，你用它几乎可以做任何事，真的，任何你想得到的事。我有很多朋友可以几个月不带现金或者银行卡，用微信就可以付钱。所有事都是用手机里的微信完成的。很酷，虽然感觉也有点怪怪的。

If China was not a communist nation, APPs like Wechat would still be treated like a threat simply cause' China ain't a part of the west.

i used to have wechat and i deleted almost right away because it is pretty lame mostly everything is base in China 😂 so idk why is so popular

我以前下过微信，但里面的功能大都是给中国国内用的，于是秒删了。所以我不太清楚它为什么这么受欢迎。
