If completed, the pipeline would carry about 500,000 barrels of crude per day from North Dakota’s Bakken oilfield to Illinois. The project has faced months of resistance from the Standing Rock Sioux tribe and members of nearly 100 more tribes from across the U.S. and Canada.

THIS PIPELINE WAS ORIGINALLY PLANNED TO BE BUILT NORTH OF BISMARCK BUT DUE TO FEARS OF THEIR WATER SUPPLY BEING POISONED AND BECAUSE IT IS A MAJORITY WHITE CITY THE PIPELINE WAS REROUTED TO GO ABOVE THE NATIVE AMERICAN'S WATER SUPPLY AND THROUGH ORIGINAL TRIBAL LAND.

Give me ANY proof of a oil leak that WASN'T with a pipeline that was over 50 years old. These will not leak and they are much better for the environment than to have it transported by a bunch of green house gas emitting vehicles.
