越南人都厌恶中国人吗？ [美国媒体]

This is misconception.
Vietnamese people doesn't hate Chinese people, we instead respect their culture, working attitude, kindly supports...
But, we do afraid of Chinese governments, who, in history, started many wars against Vietnam.

这是个误解。越南人民不讨厌中国人，我们尊重他们的文化，工作态度，亲切的支持。但是，我们害怕曾多次发动侵略越南战争的中国政府。

Young Liu
As far as I known, Vietnamese history textbook is a Chinese invasion history. (Vietnamese friends are welcome to correct me if I misunderstand those pictures, thank you)

据我所知，越南的历史课本就是一部中国侵略史。



This painting is about Trưng Sisters fought against armies of Han dynasty. They were killed in may, 43AD by Han‘s general Ma yuan.

Ngô Quyền (898-944), founder of independent Vietnam. He defeated armies of Nan Han (917-971) which is a kingdom built after collapse of Tang dynasty.

吴权（898-944）越南独立的奠基人，他击败了南汉的军队，南汉是唐朝崩溃后建立的一个王国。



Ly Công Uẩn (974-1028), built "Li dynasty“ in 1009 which is regarded as golden period of Vietnam.He moved the capital to Hanoi. What's interesting about him is there was a TV series produced by China and Vietnam to celebrate the 1000th anniversary of Hanoi. It’s called《Ly Công Uẩn- Đường tới thành Thăng Long》(李公蕴到升龙城之路), however vietnam censorship department thought this TV series contain too many  “Chinese elements” and refused to play it in Vietnam.
Ly Thường Kiệt(1018－1105),wars with Song dynasty.

李公蕴（974-1028）1009年建立李朝，被公认为越南的黄金时代。他迁都到河内。有趣的是一部为了庆祝中越千年之交的中越两国共同出品的电视剧《李公蕴到升龙城之路》因为包含了太多中国元素而被越南审查部门禁止上映。Ly Thường Kiệt（1018-1105）曾和宋朝打仗。



Trần Quốc Tuấn,wars with Yuan dynasty.
Endless wars with ancient China continued until 80s of 19th century when Chinese armies was defeated by France.
Actually, after 1949, PRC had a short honeymoon period with Vietnam until Sino-Vietnam war in 1979.
Vietnam keeps a 400 thousand conventional armies in case of potential wars with China. I can understand them actually, none would trust a bully with pages of criminal records. And I'm sorry for all the victims of those wars.

和古中国无尽的战争直到19世纪80年代中国军队被法国击败。实际上，1949年后，中国和越南有个短暂的蜜月期直到1979年中越战争。越南保持了40万的正规军以预防同中国潜在的战争可能。实际上我能理解他们，没有人会信任一个罄竹难书的恶霸，我对所有战争的受害者表示遗憾。

Generally speaking - yes. But on a personal level, I feel no resentment towards Chinese at all and many of my friends are Chinese. 
There is however, a certain tension between Vietnamese and Chinese. Which is definitely saying something, because I don't think it is as strong for other countries like the US or Japanese or the French, who have also occupied our country in the past and done their fair share of horrible things.
It's mostly a matter of history. China has invaded us many many times and still are questioning Vietnamese sovereignty even today. So yes, generally speaking there is resentment but I wouldn't say that every Vietnamese person hates every Chinese person.

一般而言，是这样的。但是从我个人层面讲，我对中国没什么怨恨，我很多朋友都是中国人。
然而，中越之间确实有一些羁绊，明确的说，我并不认为中越之间的仇恨像我们和其他对越南在过去犯下罪行的诸如美国日本法国这些国家那样强烈。
这主要是历史问题。中国侵略过我们很多次，即使在今天仍然质疑越南的主权，所以是的，通常来说越南人会对中国不满，但也不是每个人都讨厌中国人。
