The Yale University dean criticized for posting Yelp reviews that called people “white trash” is leaving her position, according to a report Tuesday.

据报道，因称呼他人是“白色垃圾”而遭遇批评的耶鲁系主任将离职。

June Chu, the dean of Yale’s residential Pierson College, had been placed on leave after her controversial postings surfaced

Yale's college paper, which broke the story about the Yelp reviews, reported on Twitter that Chu was leaving. The report didn't say if she had resigned voluntarily or been fired.

In one review, she cited a restaurant as perfect for anyone who was “white trash.”
"This establishment is definitely not authentic by any stretch of any imagination and perfect for those low class folks who believe this is a real night out," Chu wrote.

In another post, she said she was surprised that a New Haven, Conn., movie theater had a lack of “sketchy crowds.”

Pierson College Head Stephen Davis announced Chu was leaving in an email to members of the Pierson community, the Yale Daily News reported.

To live in China is an awakening to say the least. Ms. Chu would never make it in China intellectually or otherwise and is lucky her parents had money to go to the US while her Mom was pregnant with her to give birth to her in the USA; so she can have an American passport and live the American dream. It is a well known fact that Chinese bleach their skins and hide from the sun so that they can look like White America, maybe she is bitter because she is not White.
Return to China and try to be so ugly and see what will happen to you.

no, she is just being stupid.... more and better reason she should not be dean of any thing! if she does not even have the discretion and self discipline to manage her own social media exposure well, what bloody anything else can she manage? this is a 3x stupidity considering she is either chinese or korean (more likely chinese based on her last name.) only losers use Yelp!

She should not be ALLOWED to "leave", she should be fired like any other person who spouts racism like she did, any white person would have been lynched and immediately fired.  what's with the double standard?

I wonder what Ms. Chu's reaction would be if she were referred to as yellow trash, Chi nk trash or slant-eyed trash.  Do racists like her never think they can be on the receiving end of the same vitriol?  She's not very bright for a college dean.
