I lived in Guizhou for a couple of years, traveling back and forth between Chengdu (Sichuan) and Guiyang. This is what my train rides would look like in the Spring. Also - it's Luoping. Thanks for the memory. Where were you traveling in China?

I find it funny that a lot of people on reddit cannot differentiate between fog and smog. As long as there's cloudy stuff in the picture and it's a location in China, it's automatically "smog". The smog in China is mostly Urban, the countryside is very beautiful.

我觉得很可笑，reddit上很多人无法区分雾和霾之间的区别。只要有类似云一样的东西出现在中国的地方，它就自动变成了“霾”。在中国雾霾主要在城市，农村是很漂亮的。

For the record, the flowers in this image are rapeseed (brassica napus). It's primarily used to make canola oil and biodiesel fuel.
