BEIJING(Reuters) - China allowed a senior U.S. Congressional delegation to visitTibet, including Democratic Leader Nancy Pelosi, a long time critic of China'shuman rights record, a Chinese politician said on Thursday.

北京（路透社）——中国允许了一个美国国会高级代表团访问西藏，包括了长期批评中国人权记录的民主党领袖南希佩洛西，一名中国政治家周四陈。

At ameeting in Beijing's Great Hall of the People, Zhang Ping, vice chairman ofChina's largely rubber stamp parliament the National People's Congress, greetedPelosi and asked how her trip to Tibet was.

It istime to let the former leader of Tibet go back to his home country. Let the14th Dalai Lama go back to his country and people. China has occupied Tibet for70 years now and that is enough colonization. Let the Tibetan people have theirown country back again. Notallowing a US lawmaker to visit one part of Chinese territory is not humanright abuse. As a sovereign country, China has the right to decide if a USAmerican can visit some part of China the same the US has the right to decideif a Chinese citizen can visit some part of US territory.
Since US has always held ulterior agenda for Tibet, it is very reasonable forChina to set a check point to filter those unhealthy factors, US congressperson included.
US government has had a very good record of trying every means to subvertChinese sovereignty. US will not hesitate to use any opportunity to causedamage to Chinese sovereignty over Chinese territory.
