The election is long over, but Hillary Clinton still hasplenty of criticism for her former rival, now President Trump

总统竞选早已经结束了，但是希拉里克林顿对她的前任竞选对手，如今的总统特朗普还是有很多的诟病。

Clinton offered a scathing analysis of Trump’s psycheduring a Monday interview with NPR’s Terry Gross, calling him “avery emotionally strange man.”

克林顿在周一接受美国国家公共电台的特瑞格罗斯采访时，对特朗普进行了一次苛刻的精神评估，声称他是一个“非常情绪化的怪异的男人”。

The assessment came after Gross replayed remarks Trumpmade at a campaign rally in which he criticized Clinton’s late return to thestage after a break during a Democratic primary debate.

这份评估出现的理由是，格罗斯当时回顾了特朗普在一场竞选集会中批评希拉里在一场民主党初选辩论中休息时间后迟迟未返回的言论。

“I’m watching the debate and she disappeared,” Trump saidof Clinton at the December 2015 rally in Grand Rapids, Mich. “Where did she go?Where did she go? I thought she quit! I thought she gave up. Where did she go?Where did Hillary go? They had to start the debate without her. Phase two: Iknow where she went. It’s disgusting. I don’t want to talk about it!         It’s too disgusting. Don’t say it, it’sdisgusting.”

Gross said she interpretedthe comment to mean Trump thought it was “disgusting” that Clinton used therestroom, and Clinton agreed, noting she was late returning to the stageafterwards because the women’s restrooms were further away from the stage thanthe men’s.

Clinton said the remark is indicative of how Trump feels aboutwomen, specifically that he can’t bear to know about certain “physical parts”of life because it interferes with how he normally thinks about women.

“It said to me that this is a very emotionally strange man,”Clinton said. “That that would even, No. 1, cross his mind, and No. 2, that hewould share it at a rally, that he thought it would endear him or motivate thesupporters he had at a rally.”

After losing the election to Trump, Clinton mostly stayed out ofthe media spotlight, but she has reemerged to promote her book “What Happened,”a memoir of her campaign. In a spate of interviews, Clinton has sharplycriticized her formal rival.

Heobjectifies women. He’s more than happy to comment on what women look like andwhether they’re too thin or too fat or whatever his particular obsession mightbe.”
