Since Vietnamese people love watching Chinese dramas, what do Chinese and Vietnamese think of Korean actresses and actors acted in Chinese ancient drama, like it or not? Why?

Do not know about Chinese opinions but here is Vietnamese opinions
Most Vietnamese men said those Korean
- look boring as hell because they didn't have "aura"
- not as beautiful as their Chinese counterparts
-their faces didn't suit Chinese traditional clothing, odd-looking
-I read that A -list Korean actresses salaries lower than B-list Chinese actresses ones so ..

不太清楚中国的看法,但我可以告诉你我一个越南人的看法。大多数越南人都说这些韩国人：
——看起来无聊的要死，因为她们没有“主角光环”
——不如她们的中国同行漂亮
——不适合穿中国古装。硬穿上之后看着奇形怪状的。
——我看过一个清单，上面显示韩国女演员的薪水要低于中国女演员。

-Couldn't compare with Chinese beauties, Koreans only become beautiful when they wear short skirts revealing their white long legs
-Look like maid in Chinese costume听
-something wrong with their facial features making them look weird in Chinese outfits.

和中国美女相比，韩国人在穿短裙的时候才会变得漂亮，因为他们穿的裙子很长，看起来就像中国服装的女服务员——他们的面部特征让他们看起来很怪异，这让他们看起来很怪异。

However, there are fews who like Korean actresses didn't care about this issue but supported them though.
Most Vietnamese girls don't like them either, they said Korean beauties only pretty compared to other Koreans, and they should not go to China.
I seldom see they discuss abt Korean actors but most don't like it too.

然而，有一些像韩国女演员一样的女演员并不在意这个问题，但却支持她们。大多数越南女孩也不喜欢她们，她们说，韩国美女与其他韩国人相比，只是比较漂亮，她们不应该去中国。我很少看到他们讨论韩国演员，但大多数人也不喜欢。

Actually it’s the first time that I know there is Korean actors/actresses acting in Chinese ancient drama… As I haven’t watched it, I have no right to comment.
Apart from Chinese ancient drama, I do like some Korean actresses (i.e. 全智贤 -Jun Ji-hyun - Google Search） . But it is hard to imagine she acting in Chinese ancient drama… Maybe worth a good try :-)

事实上，这是我第一次知道有韩国演员参演中国古装剧。因为之前没有看过，所以我没权利就此发表评论。除了中国古装剧外,我还喜欢一些韩国女演员(如全智贤- Jun Ji-hyun )。但是很难想象她会在中国古装剧中表演。或许值得一试:-)

We wont even know if it was a korean actors/actress in it unless it was someone famous from other Korea drama series lol.
We dont have any thoughts about nationality in acting really , we enjoyed a good film about the genre we like and thats about it.

Viet Nam is still heavily influenced by martial arts novel from China , and movies about those are the most common and likable per se for a Vietnamese. I am a weirdo though for not liking those genre.
Viet Nam TV service use a lot of Chinese movies is because of the tiny budget they get. They can only import cheap movie for entertainment and thats the trend for a long time , and the viewers get accustomed to it.

In Cambodia, the next country along from Vietnam, people often watch foreign TV shows - mainly from Thailand, but also a lot from China, Korea, Taiwan, India and even a few western shows. The reason for this is that original, made-in-Cambodia programming is taking off only very slowly, due to a lack of both wealth and infrastructure, but people still need cheap entertainment.

在柬埔寨，沿着越南继续往下走的一个国家，人们经常看外国的电视节目——主要来自泰国。但也有很多是来自中国、韩国、台湾和印度，甚至还有一些西方节目。原因在于我们缺乏财富和相关基础设施，在柬埔寨“柬埔寨制造”的节目的起步速度非常缓慢，但人们仍然需要廉价的娱乐节目。

The shows are all dubbed in the local language, meaning that the dialogue has been translated and some voice actors have recorded their own audio track on top of the original. I have no idea who does it all, whether the dubbing is accurate at all, or whether it’s all necessarily completely legal, but somehow Cambodia is awash with foreign media presented entirely in their own language.

Three words: subtitles and dubs.
(And now I hope the mod bot won't collapse this, because I'm pretty sure this is how Vietnam gets by. I mean, if the rest of the world relies on subtitles to watch anime, it's reasonable to assume that Vietnam is gonna use subtitles to watch Chinese dramas and the like).

Between the Chu Nom questions and this one, that’s quit a few questions wondering how Vietnamese can survive not being Chinese. Anyway :
Not just Chinese soaps. Koreans are huge, certainly more than Chinese and Indians are getting more popular too.

It works the same everywhere in the world : subtext and dubs. Now, dubs is always more popular everywhere and so it is here. One thing is dubs used to be all done by only one voice for all characters. It is still happening though tastes are getting more sophisticated.

Production cost and infrastructure is prohibitive in many of these countries so many are dubbed with Chinese subtitles. You will see that across SE Asia so many are treated like stars when they visited these countries. This was the case with South Korea and China now where more TV programs are being made and distributed across the globe.
