Jane's Weekly had a huge article about this and the Russian systems as well - it has been a joint effort between the 2 countries. Their tests have exceeded Mach 13 and are considered super-sonic. They blow past any western defense system in service. Whats got the joint chiefs really worried is that the Chinese want to mate it to their anti-carrier weapons.

Is anyone else wondering what's going on here? No, this isn't propaganda, but fact. Iran is testing new long range missiles, Russia is also doing this and upgrading their systems. 30 years ago, nobody would believe Russia and China would ever have a alliance, they do and also with Iran now.
