I don't care how expensive our goods get. As long as we take China down a notch that's all that matters.
For all the climate alarism people do, the absolute refusal to do anything about China because 'think of the cheap iPhones!' even though they're going to be the biggest contributor to the end of life on this planet is outstanding.

Take a quick walk down your whole foods, walmart, safeway, costco, best buy.. every container, box, tv, consumer good, packaging, electronic.. all china. Supply and demand.
Just take a look at the aftermath of what happened when China refused to take our 'recycled' goods. We're sitting on tons of waste just sitting around waiting to be 'recycled' to other country's landfills.

As long as the top 1% are controlling the majority of the wealth, the poor have no option but to buy cheap products even if it hurt the environment. This is a much harder problem to solve than you think.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but even if China is not the one doing it, it will be another country. As long as there is demand, there will be someone that will provide it. The only way of reducing co2 emissions is to fucking stop buying shit.
