养乐多的官网是这么写的：
“代田博士希望为这款饮料取一个全世界都能理解的名字，所以他从世界语里选择了‘养乐多’这个词。”

注释：Esperanto世界语，是波兰籍犹太人柴门霍夫博士于1887年创立的一种语言，旨在消除国际交往中的语言障碍。

Hence the name has alot of Western influence since esperanto is linguistically much closer to Spanish and French.

因为世界语在语言学上跟西班牙语和法语很相似，所以养乐多这个名字听起来很有西方风格。

Im a big bubble tea fan, and one time I was looking at other drink options at Coco's Fresh Tea & Juice, which has Mango, Lemon & Green Tea Yakult. I asked them whats Yakult, but they couldn't explain it, just said its milky.
