中国野生动物园女子被老虎咬死 [美国媒体]

BEIJING (AP) — Siberian tigers at a wildlife park in Beijing mauled a woman to death and wounded another when they stepped out of their car in an enclosure a Chinese state-run newspaper said.

北京（美联社）：位于北京的野生动物园发生西伯利亚虎伤人事件，此次事件造成一死一伤。据当地官方报纸报道：事件发生时，当事的两名女子私自离开位于围栏内的车。

A tiger pounced on one of the women after she got out of a private car in which she was touring the Beijing Badaling Wildlife World on Saturday the Legal Evening News reported.

据星期六的晚间法制新闻报道：在游览北京的八达岭野生动物园期间，有一名女游客私自离开自己的车，然后他就被老虎攻击了。

The second woman was killed by another tiger that leapt at her after she stepped out of the vehicle to try to help her companion the report said.

i feel for the women but for Pete's sakewhy would anybody with a properly functioning brain get out of their vehicle in a wild tiger enclosure?. i'm sure that someone employed with the park told them to stay in vehicle. some people just don't any common sense what so ever.

She may have made a mistake but where is the sympathy ...aaahhh that's a little more advanced a human emotion you don't have access too. It's like morality and common sense. The general public just doesn't have it to a higher degree.

Tigers in captivity have lost their inherent fear of humans. They like to play around with full grown adults as a kitten does with a ball of wool.
Lions to the same thing.
Sorry to hear it but can others heed this to prevent a perfectly healthy *and rare* big cat being out to sleep.

I noticed in the picture below that the woman is at her car door as she is being attacked.Their is a red car right there that could have saved her life by ramming the tigerbut apparently chose to only watch.Disgusting human behavior.The tiger was only doing what tigers do.

Right lets tell people the must stay in their car. Everyone knows that rules and laws only apply to those who aren't "special". Well these women become a rare specialty for these Tigers. I take they where served "Well Done".
